Death Valley One Chip (EYE) Challenge

- I went to Death Valley to explore for a video I want to release at the end of February or beginning of March. I went with Vail and Jesse. While out in the middle of nowhere they challenged me to the One Chip Challenge. They took video of the event.
I was sitting right here facing west: Copy and Paste these coordinates into Google Earth and you will see exactly where I was sitting.

The one chip challenge was definitely the hottest thing I’ve ever ate in my life, and I did call it weak considering I did handle it well, but the stomach pains I had an hour later damn near killed me. And that’s the only reason I won’t be back for 2022. 😂 keep up the great content man!
I've seen a few of these challenges with this chip. You killed it with the least side effects (even with the eye part)! Beast mode for sure!

You're a beast Forrest, I've seen other youtubers try this and they all pretty much got completely destroyed. This is the best I've seen anyone handle that chip. Absolute legend.

My former boss and dearest friend, F. Irvin Dymond, was a gunner on the USS Bismarck Sea, when a kamikaze struck and sank the ship off Iwo Jima. He said became a distinguished defense attorney, having earned with a register of colorful clients (incl. Clay Shaw). My dad was in the Timberwolf Division under “terrible Terry Allen” and never shared his experience without my brother’s probing. His seven brothers served in both theaters.

This was a really groovey video. I enjoyed it. The one chip challenge was quite a surprise. While watching it I kept waiting for the effect of what was about to happen to take place. It makes me think back on when I was still in Hawaii and my friends and I did the Ghost Pepper challenge where we all drank Dave's Ghost Pepper sauce. I'm lucky to still alive. There is a video of it. Ha ha. Forrest Haggerty your videos are absolutely fascinating. That is because YOU are a fascinating man.

15 years ago, my son did this challenge (lol.) And that was the only thing that did him in. His damn eye.

The one chip challenge is only about 5 or 6 years old, many of the peppers used to make the chip are just as young. I think the Carolina Reaper was created in 2017. Your son must have done a pepper eating challenge. Probably just as bad though. I imagine after a certain point, it all kind of feels the same.

I can attest that the chip in fact does taste terrible. At least those death nuts have some flavor.
