  • This is the first of three videos recorded while riding my SV650s along the Wild Atlantic Way, a 1200km signposted driving route which follows the west coast of Ireland from Muff, Co. Donegal in the north all the way Down to Kinsale, Co. Cork in the south, and taking in a little bit of everything that Ireland has to offer along the way.
This was recorded mostly using a GoPro HERO4 Session on my helmet. I'm still very much on the learning curve of MotoVlogging, so bear with my while I learn!

That was great...really enjoyed your film. Bad luck about the crash...it shakes you up for sure. By the way Kriega are pretty good at repairing crash damaged gear. Looking forward to the next episode! Cheers, Steve

Stephen Eldridge I’m glad you enjoyed it! Good to know about kreiga, I’ll get on to them if/when my repair starts to give up! My laptop is exporting the next episode as I type so as long as my laptop doesn’t crash again I’ll have it up very soon.

What an awesome video, you have greatv footage of what looks like lovely Irish summer days lol!
Bummer you came off the bike but its happens to the best of us and it's great that you got up and straight back on your bike which looks fab scratches and all. Can't wait to see the rest of your videos and will be following your route in reverse from next week. I'm buying an old bike in Cork hope it dosent crap out but if it does I'm sure I'll still be grand. Was going to do some wild camping but looks cold enough.

MissAdventures Motorcycle Diary thanks a lot! Best of luck for your trip. That’s might be around Cork and Kerry myself in the next week or two so give me a wave if you see a yellow Suzuki! Camping should be fine, it’s quite warm at the moment (by Irish standards at least). I know of a few people that have camped there recently without a problem.

@@92travels oh cool, I'm getting a bike for my daughter, meant yo be pickng it up next weekend in Cork. We are driving cheap bikes here, as we hope to get a couple of decent bikes in a few months for a big trip but who knows at the moment with the virus influencing things. Yeah be great to see you on the road, fab colour bike you have, can't miss it.

@@missadventuresmotorcycledi2773 Hopefully it'll all go well for you! It's hard to plan for things at the moment. I finally got myself an Africa Twin but it's stuck in Chicago for the foreseeable future while I'm back in Ireland.

What did you do for accommodation on your journey? Hostels or did you do any camping?

Seán Dieter Eggert just hostels and some Airbnb. I was working online as I went so camping would have been awkward.
