If you were trapped in a virtual reality death game where one wrong move in game will kill you in real life! what would you do? I might not be a geinus or a prophet but i think that playing a buy to win, grinding, luck base game and ads appear often, may not be healthy.
I could never survive this because my parents would ignore all warnings about removing the helmet and take it off of me

Some parents are just fucking shit. They wouldn't trust their kid's wishes, hell, a lot of parents don't even see their kids as humans, but just see someone that they "own" because "we brought them to the world!"

When I heard about this anime I made these 4 rules:
1. Stay at least 10 levels above the highest level enemy in the area, these 10 levels will account for high strength trap enemies
2. Keep a teleport crystal in hand behind a shield at all times so you can run away if things get dicey
3.stay out of areas that look like a trap or anti-crystal areas
4.if you are going to kill a boss get a team of at least 9 other players with at least 2 with high defence stats while being 15 levels higher than the boss
My rule for this idea would be 'run a shop and let the others who'd shout "leroy jenkins" and charge at bosses do their thing'. I think it'd go well, stay in the non-pvp zones if there any any and bam. Ez
But yeah so long as theres no level caps and the game tells you your crystals wont work, your idea sounds good too 😂
Honestly, they should just comit to massive grind.
Get like 60-70 players, everyone grind to be overleveled for that floor.
As we saw with 1 floor, you can bring as many players as you wanted for the fight.
Don't forgett to have peopel that can stand in the back, and heal and buff
While this method will be slow, it will present much less death

The game self adjusts based on the players so being overleveled may not even be an option

Kirito made a mistake marring asuna when he could've used that time grinding stats then married her outside the game but finding yui was not a mistake for plot reasons

I would send as much time as I could training. Train for every scenario. In fact, I'll train until I max out my level
Kirito basically gives the game away when he arrests the red players, just gotta level grind and basically makes you invisible.
My main strategy would be grind, but with a few precautions. I would only grind mob s I could kill confidently and I'd head back to base to heal up if my health got to half (I'm not taking any chances). It's slow and tedious, but the important part is that it's safe. I'd try going to some of the higher floors for higher tier loot, but wouldn't stay too long unless I knew the layout or mobs for obvious reasons. Basically be a baby and grind mobs I can safely farm. It's a boring play style, but in a world where literally YOLO, I'm not taking any chances
Most surprisingly, If kirito thought it through with the revive relic, How would you revive someone after a long time? They are already dead in reality, It makes no sense.

My strategy is to use the meat shields as decoys for aggroing stronger enemies with ranged weapons by getting the enemy to focus them while the strong ones do the killing from behind
Foolproof plan, and if executed oroperly, no casualties but not safe to use in pvp
Definitelyu would not work against Kiaba.
So as a curious but non gamer I'd camp the starting town resolving to die in the hospital while trapped in game.
Though issue I have with the story is the lack of chat / external chat like we know it must exist which means people could stay in touch with the outside.and knowing the danger a it person could dupe the soft ware and figure out a safe kill switch they could inject into the main server.
As well as giving cheat codes to aid the trapped players
This is something I though of seeing how games like runescape has cheaters who can find exploits everytime an exploit gets patched or 2b2t where people push the game's code to the absolute limits and completely break the game
I still love the thought that he got the dual wield skill after helping silica. Ya know, after beating the guy wielding 2 axes. It's very unclear how the unique skills work but it seems like only the player with the highest stat gets the skill for that stat. Kirito speed, defence for the other. Kinda wish we saw more

The actual game section of the anime is great. The second half of season one is one of the worst I have ever seen. Season 2 is decent, but the part with that kid that is sick is really good.
You know what pisses me off even more? The fact that fanfictions prove that SAO, even the Alfheim arc are wasted potential that could have been great. I actually want to see a good game based off of Alfheim Online.
@@nighthawk72j80 Ah, good old fanfictions. I remember writing one about 7 years ago about an AI that hanged out with the main cast for the major part of post 20+ floors and then turned out to be the 99th floor's boss.
The sorceress, the girl who stole all the magic to herself, the villain of might and magic, etc. As in, she was the only one who could use both magic and every weapon, there was an entire sub-arc in which they discovered lore-wise why there weren't anything magic-related in the game, turns out that chick stole it all, lmao.
She's supposed to represent the nervous system of the game, if that dev was the brain, she was the one who made everything happen on his command as she had been a helping AI during the game's development. I think her name was Monday or something
Season three (SAO: Alicization / War of Underworld) & the movies are pretty good.
The first half of season 1 was my favorite but i didnt like season 2 alot cause ggo bored me

SAO Abridged did it right when he woke up. He would actually have a catheter in and I don't think he is just gonna yank that out

Yeah these games arent meant to be solo so it would nearly impossible before the 10 floor. If they were, they wouldn't allow more then 1 person to enter the boss arena.

Honestly in SAO, I would focus on immediately gathering materials and giving them away/selling them. Sure, I fight and level up on the way, but I'd definitely be a materials guy

me, either way: Mm, wise advice.
I always found the microwave death thing so stupid. A) It's a VR headset so it only has electricity as long as it is plugged into the wall(the anime shows that you have to be stationary and that it has to be plugged into the wall for it to work so it's clear it's like a PS4, Xbox or hell, irl Microwaves that need to be plugged in to work), meaning this entire anime would be over if people just plugged off the headset from the outlet/ socket before removing it.
B) It's also weird that a random game developer is able to shut off a safety switch of a system he didn't work on or that you could even make every single hardware system lose one of it's basic functions by outside hacking (imagine someone who never worked on a PS4 creating a bug that stopped every PS4 from turning off, not only would that be nigh impossible because that's a basic hardware, not software feature, but also would make no sense as he'd have to have extensive access to the headset software to do that without alerting a hacker breach which either way, they still would stop him because a team of people would notice him messing with the code they already completed and know something was up).

...the VERY FIRST thing you learn about the nervegear is that it has an internal battery that allows it to keep going even if it's unplugged. If it's unplugged and running low on battery, the death triggers immediately to prevent people from escaping that way.
things ive learned from online games is that there will always be that one boss who is stupidly op but easily gets cheesed bcuz its too stupid to go around the pillar or whatever is in their way
I feel like the best way to survive, save for not doing anything, is through power leveling skill which is done through an FF2 style of gameplay.

It's an MMO. It's all about numbers to begin with. If you have more collective HP than the enemy, and deal similar damage, then you win 100% of the time.
Collective HP includes mitigated damage and healing.

Isn't the best way to win just mind numbing grinding. If I was in this situation I'd join a small guild and just grind on lower levels. Get to level 100 before floor 50. Along with my guild members too have an overpowered team.

Literally grind 1 skill. The game was so weirdly designed that you got stronger by just using the same skills repeatedly or doing basic actions like ruining and jumping and cooking and stuff dying in this game is a severe skill issue

What I would do if I waz trapped in VR: Stay alive,join a few teams and other guilds,help the best I could and do not mention about being a tester to anyone at all.
Consequence: Mentioning U were a beta tester will bring in negative attention,rezentment and eventual bandwangon. Not to mention trust issues.

If u can regen then it doesn’t matter if u take dmg as longs as u don’t die and kirito was literally invulnerable in episode 4 because he had such high hp and had regen that 6 players in unison weren’t able to beat the regen

Honestly, a SAO situation either goes way better than the show or devolves quickly in what is happening in the Unital Ring arc LMAO. If massive hysteria takes hold, the game is over, no one is safe. Also, a lot of people would die from health issues and complications or deterioration of already existing issues. Specially cardiovascular. And a lot of people in SAO weren't exactly living healthy before the coma so I can see see why Kirito discourse about the time limit was likely, very accurate, and perhaps the time limit itself was closer than he thought. Also, if someone starts suffering from something in the middle of a battle, it can look like they just died due to a monster when in-reality they got interrupted and caught off-guard because of actual physical pain or discomfort.
I get that meat shield thing, but that wouldnt work how Kirito played the game to either point.
Its always rather him than anyone else.
Hence why he called himself a "Beater", to protect the other beta testers. That chap was about to gang up everyone against former beta-testers.
