First, I want to thank you for this great video. I do have a question for you though after purchasing this today. I plugged in the scanner and attached it to my computer, well it started to download, but then it says “bmw scanner v14x doesn’t have driver”. What does this mean and is there a way around this issue? You feedback would be greatly appreciated because at this point I’m feeling like I maybe didn’t get the one I should have. It is scanner v1.4.0

I am having trouble with my automatic door lock on the passenger side. I will not unlock with the key fob or the button inside, but it will lock with the key fob. Does that sound like the actuator? Is that hard to replace?
I have a 2002 E46 M3. And on the same side the automatic mirror has stopped working too.

hi Evan, thanks for your helpful video. I have two question about my 2004 E60 (530i).
1- My 2004 E60 (530i) rolls down all windows and sunroof and unlocks all 4 doors by itself when parked and locked. I made sure my key fob is not pressed when getting away from car. What is wrong with it and how can fix or disable that feature to be at lease safe.
2 - How can I enable Bluetooth on my 2004 E60 (530i)?

Great video men i was looking for this because my e46 made me crazy locking the windows manually, is it possible to lock or open the windows without holding the buttons? If it is can you upload a video about that?
+matin mesdaq unfortunately it is not possible to open and close the windows without holding the lock or unlock button. It would be cool if you didn't have to hold them.

My rear driver side window does not close with key fob. It didn't even close with 1 touch like all my other windows even when checking my carly coding o have the 1 touch option and rear windows close with key fob options to "ON" any idea????
can this software code and change the car idle speed??
can you do this with an ELM bluetooth module by any chance? i can clear codes with it with torque i wonder if there is a way to make it work with an ELM ODB2 adapter
It might work with the app Carly BMW which is a coding app it’s just all more expensive that BMW scanner or ncsexpert. However Carly BMW is much easier to use.

It should work with windows 7 and I have it working on windows 10. You just need to get different installers for the forums

No just turn to the lock position In the key cylinder and hold it rolls your top up and your windows if you keep holding

All you need to do is stick the key door locks and they go up I have a 90 525i a 2012 x5 and a 98 528i they all do it you don’t need no code just hold in the lock position in the key lock and turn it in the unlock position to roll me down you are wasting time
