I'm not even from Edmonton and I loved him. I saw him on HNIC and he just rocks. Oiler fans, you were blessed to hear the golden tones of Paul Lorieau.
Mark Lewis, another great. Been with them since 1980, another classic voice of the Oilers, luckily he still graces us with his voice at home games but its only a matter of time till he moves on too.
Paul is a true Oiler legend. Every diehard fan has experienced moments with him that they will remember for their entire lives. He deserves a jersey in the rafters. Paul also came to sing at my Grandad's funeral last year... I cant explain what that meant to me, and my Grandad. Class act.
Please!!! We need oilers to play this for our western conference finals and Stanley cup finals just for Paul. The first man to get the crowd taking over the national anthem in the nhl back in 2006
I'm so grateful to have been there and be part of the crowd singing with him for his final anthem, brought a tear to my eye. Going to miss him, won't be the same without him for the national anthem.
not sure of his name but the announcer too has been a voice that has been heard in forever at least since I remember..just not many people recognize him
Rod Phillips and Paul Lorieau; two of the greatest voices in NHL history. Both will be missed.

Who is the PA announcer? Isn’t he the current voice? And if so, where was he from 2011-18?

Who is the classless person who disliked this?
The classless was probably a Flame or Canuck fan!!
Oilers better have a good anthem singer that lets the croud sing during playoff games
He definitely isn't deaf..
