I have 2 places for my little sulcate. a large plastic concrete tub for nights and mornings with UVB/UVA light and in the garden she has an enclosure that I simply surrounded with thick, heavy building blocks. I can move it again and again. I use a mosquito door to cover it. in each enclosure there is coconut bedding, hay and moss, which i spray with water when the humidity gets too low.

Won't the rain make the wood decompose?

I used pressure treated wood and it’s been holding up well so far 😃

Will you give measurements? So I can can get the stuff for it…

Outdoor enclosures are definitely worth it.
If she hates it maybe the temperature is off? Or maybe she needs more hides? Just a thought. Best wishes ☺️

@@christinemrtz6637 well she is constantly trying to walk through the glass and I only have paper towels and a small amount of reptibark in there I'm afraid she might flip herself over while I'm not there she's still a baby she is about the size of your little tortoise I want an out and inside enslosure though the inside will have to be built the same way because the cats comes in the garage too

And so what watt do you use for your tortoises I got a 75 watt daylight, 100 watt nightlight, heating pad under basking space, and uvb tubular light... I pick her up sometimes she's cold, sometimes she's warm and sometimes half cold and half warm what is that about?

@@christinemrtz6637 and yes I think she does much better I. The natural sun she perks up. But I live in Alabama and it's too. Cold here so I try to put her where the sun is shining while she is soaking at least 3 hours in the sun every day until winter

  • @tamas1163

Why don't you put some stones in the ground, for example? So they can easily get out from under the structure, or another animal can enter...! The right corner is hanging in the air, not level with the water. I think it could have been much better.
