I love that you find ways to keep costs low, since not everyone can afford crazy priced enclosures for their animals, and they still come out amazing.

OH OH OH! I havnt been able to watch your videos recently because of how busy I have been but im so excited you finally have a red foot!!!!!! I just yelled in excitement
A great thing i found with my red foot is putting in live plants. I love tropical hibiscus 🌺 its beautiful and one of their favored goods. They also need grazing ground as well, it makes it easier between feedings for them to have a more natural diet. Gosh im so excited

Great video. I'm not sure about where you guys live but those holes in the chicken wire are definitely big enough for a rat or possibly other things to get inside and they will chew on your torts arms. Just a heads up

Nice video. I have a red footed tortoise too and he is awesome! Been wanting to build an outside enclosure for awhile and you have given me some good ideas, thank you. You probably have your winter indoor setup done, but what worked good for me was buying a used 120 gallon fish tank. I then got a watering system to help control the humidity levels. My tortoise is a good size so this tank gives him a lot of room. This was the first video of yours I have watched but it wont be the last.

Do a little bit of cypress ulvh and eco earth the mulch is good but eco earth worked best for us

What store would you get these soils at? At Lowes i can only find one bag of this organic mulch. Which gets quite a few bugs

I’m pretty sure only Aldabra tortoises drink though there nose as second option from research
No it's actually pretty common for tortoises to drink through their noses. I have a RT and he drinks through his nose. People from the tortoise group I'm apart of have posted either vids or pics of their tortoise drinking through their noses.
