One analyst did the obvious: he took all NFL footage of what Young does between when the ball is snapped & when the lack of on-field talent or play-calling ends the play & compared it footage of Stroud. On the same plays they are identical: preparation, looking off receivers, footwork. Just like they were in the preseason.
So the Main Difference Is stuff beyond his control, having no receivers or o-line. & it doesn't help to have Frank Reich as a play-caller. Why does bad o-line play _follow an _*_HC_*_ around?_ Is... is he as HC meddling in o-line play?
Bryce is short, Slow, and has weak arm. Even the Bryce defenders can’t argue that.

This video was a unbiased, truthful breath of fresh air u spoke nothing but the truth about bryce he is 5'9 175, a below avg arm and below average athleticism he was playing backyard football with 5 stars at bama with the best college coach in history he is all hype always played with a talent around him advantage his whole life he has no mucsle mass or dawg in him and is not a nfl qb dalton would have gotten this team 8 or 9 wins this season yet bryce can do no wrong in delusional fans eyes everything is everybody else fault when bryce stinks up the place

Bryce looked good at Bama. Cannot lie. But people throw around the term "generational" waayyyy too often. C.J. Stroud, OTOH, looked clinical/surgical on every throw. Young is clearly NOT LEAGUE READY. Carolina needs to really take a hard look at their evaluation process. Irrational Exuberance is possible and dangerous at every level.

Totally disagree. Fant and Laremy Tunsil , are Houston's best lineman. Tank Dell has been a pleasant surprise, and Noah Brown, and Nico Collins are 3-4 year guys that have developed with a Great QB- Cj Stroud. I wouldn't say that is head and shoulders talent above , Moton& Ekwonu,; I give them a slight edge vs Theilen, Mingo, Dj Chark, and Tmarshall, and Shenault. The TE's are a wash Schultz vs Hurst/Tremble....The Rb's about the same....The Panthers just beat Houston, so how can someone say CJ would be a shitshow like Bryce is if he were on the Panthers.? Doesn't make sense.

He didnt even particpate in combine and still was drafted first smh. He didnt want his 40 time on record, he didnt want his vertical on record, he didnt want his bench press on record and he definitley didnt want his deep ball without defenders breathing down his neck on record.
You nailed it. BY was sold to us as a "Dual Threat QB" but a dual threat has to have wheels under him. BY is slow, slow, slow and if a hand touches him, BY goes down like a kitten. He couldn't bench 135 more than two or three times and his vertical jump would have been an embarrassment.
At least he's not ACTUALLY broken like Anthony Richardson.

Yea they should've started Dalton from the start. That's what you sign someone like him for, to have a rookie QB sit behind for a year to learn. If they bench Bryce now that's gonna ruin his confidence which he may not recover from so the panthers are pretty much stuck and have to ride it out the rest of the season and hope he and the panthers overall team gets better next year.
Don't bench BY because it might "ruin his confidence"? Hey, the Panthers franchise doesn't exist to make BY feel warm and cosy.
