Let me know down in the comments if you think he's a bust or not!
I think he's a bust
He's not
No he's not at all , what CJ dealt with last week is what Bryce has been experiencing all year
To early for that convo
@@TrentonAmanifacts
"should have drafted a guy who is bigger and could take more of a beating" meanwhile AR is out for the year already while BY9 has survived almost 50 sacks and 100 hits. I am not saying its a 1 to 1 comparison, but I think we can all agree he has proven to be more durable than anyone expected. Now, it shouldn't be happening and it should mean the Oline coach should be replaced. His durability won't matter next year if the line is still bad since he will eventually get hurt and hurt bad
Similarly the players everyone thought might get injured in Justin Fields, Lamar Jackson and Brock Purdy have all been healthy
@@OneMocha1015 especially Lamar. Only qb who got paid this offseason that finished the season and delivered on the money. Same guy they say will have a short career and “isn’t sustainable.”
Should have drafted Stroud lmao
@@houstonhardcastle9663then Strouds career would have been ruined
he was saked 62 times this past off season
Honestly, any QB would struggle with that team
How bc everyone was saying the samething about stroud and now look at where hes at
Bro is comparing CJ Stroud to Bryce young when Bryce is having no wr separation no time in the pocket Bryce young because of his size has to take a second step back to read the field and even though I wanted CJ Stroud in the draft but it's way too early our best receiver is 33 and is the only person getting open
The whole argument that he holds the ball too long is a shot at the wide outs lack of separation or a 50/50 ball that bryce does not wanna throw lack of confidence in his receivers.
@@KrichProductionsif you watch the games and then film too you will actually see that bryces situation is horrible , one of the worst olines with almost the least amount of time to throw , when they do block and give him time his wrs have no seperation and are all locked up , bryce is hated on by casuals who dont understand his situation , his wr1 is 33 yrs old way past his prime and when teams started to double team him it exposed how bad his other receivers are…. also not to mention his coaching staff is horrible , owner sucks and doesnt care and just playcalling overall is horrible
@@KrichProductionsWill Levis is better comparison than CJ.
Levis and Bryce went to the teams with the two worst O lines in the League(Titans and Panthers). CJ has arguably the best Left Tackle in the NFL.
Its his first year dawg its not over😂
It's way too soon to write off Young. The biggest problem was trading DJ Moore though. It's an insanely stupid idea to trade away you a bonafide alpha WR 1 when you're drafting a new QB.
I miss DJ Moore.
He needs dj or some type of receiving weapon but the offensive line is terrible and they didn't get a blocking running back to at least help. The entire offense is undersized and they already knew it.
@@highspeedslowfeed in this modern league wrs are honestly insanely more important than OL. U can make the playoffs with a good OL and bad wrs(lamar year 1-5), but u can make a sb with a bad OL and great wrs(burrow). Bryce doesnt have either, and on top of that doesnt have the arm talent and frame of burrow and otherworldy athleticism and pocket presence of jackson. Just a bad situation. Their only option is to give up more draft capital and burns to get elite talent, and even then, what elite talent wants to go there?
@@purpleirklegrovestreet true but burrow gets rid of the ball faster than any quarterback in the league. His size helps. Bryce has to have more time to find throwing lanes so that style will not work for him. He has to have an offensive line to be able to perform.
Nah, Bryce young is a generational BUST and that’s a fact. He will never lead the panthers to a season above .500
Everyone who picked Bryce to go 1 in the draft should be banned from talking about draft picks ever again
Same with Johnny maziel
Bruh, he’s a rookie, hasn’t even played a full year, has the worst set of weapons in the nfl and went to one of the worst teams in the nfl and people are labeling him a bust already. Give bro some time not all rookies go off right away like Stroud he’s still getting used to the nfl
he's tiny and slow, he's a qb3 at best
Do you think that BY, in his 2nd or 3rd years, is gonna grow to be 6'1", fill out to 215 lbs., and get 4.35 quick feet? No!! Little-Bryce is going to always struggle in the NFL, even behind an O-line that would rival the Steel Curtain team because he couldn't see over them. I just finished watching Michigan maul Washington by beating the heck out of Pennix with a ferocious pass rush. That is BY's future.
those people who call young a bust don’t have any ball knowledge at all. can’t wait for them to shut tf up when he makes improvements next year
@@maybesomaybeno That's what happens when y'all glaze him and called Stroud a bust. Now look how y'all are making excuses and switching up 🤣🤣
He sucked
Honestly been a fan for over 2 decades and as soon as they made the trade to number 1, my heart sank. I knew we were not a QB away. No matter who came in was going to struggle but to give up so much is crazy. This owner has put this team back by almost a decade. F Tepper.
Tepper needs to fire himself imo
I believe in Bryce but I agree I said to give Corral a shot(we wouldn’t have traded DJ Moore and draft capital from the CMAC trade) and if Corral wasn’t it then go all in like we did with Young except with Drake Maye(Born and Raised in CLT) he’ll play for the badge, city, states alone 😤
@@donaldduck2756 I agree. I like Bryce and given the right circumstances I think he would thrive. But last year's draft was not the draft to move up. Especially when you had so many holes on the team. They should have built up with good players then go for the QB. Maybe even trade down for extra capital in this year's draft with so many good WR coming out. Now we need a miracle and some more praying that one drops but I doubt it. I can see these idiots trading up to go get a WR and giving away more draft capital. Because Tepper is desperate not to look stupid even though every decision he has made, makes him look stupid. Also pretty sure that's what they'll do because what free agent really would want to come to this dumpster fire.
Honestly the best path forward would be hiring a GM and coach that'll build a culture sell off every asset you have and start from scratch.
@jeffreysarmiento5193 I agree completely. Hopefully he can bounce back and become a good qb.
And u gave up dj moore..a qb with no number one receiver
i said this before but i really do feel for the dude. i’ve followed cj stroud ever since ohio state but man i want bryce to succeed too, dude seems so humble and i hate seeing his talent get wasted. hope he ends up like trevor lawrence and has a bounce back season.

I felt this comment in my soul 😅.
Damn, Bryce isnt even out of his first year lol. Fans are some of the stupidest analysts. People get paid millions to make these decisions and some y'all think you are so much smarter...go work for an NFL team then 🤡 . The fact is that the Panthers are talent deficient at basically every postion group on offense and defense. No player is having success on that team. Tepper is wasting careers right now. It sucks that Bryce went to the Panthers, if it was CJ Stroud he would be having a terrible first season as well. People think the Texans were not good, they actually were pretty decent last year, they had good players at key positions, a servicable OL and a decent defense. Sometimes these teams want that QB but if all you have is a QB but nothing around them they are not gonna be good. QB is the most reliant on other positions of any position on the field. QBs need guys who can block, reliable WRs that can run routes, catch, hell GET OPEN. RBs that can actually grind out yards. The Panthers have a bunch of mix matched ingredients and they are asking coaches to make 5 star meals. No coach or player is going to have success on the Panthers till Tepper is gone.
There are some real facts for some of the deluded commentors on this thread.
As a Texans fan been there seen that we had piss poor management for years. You say Texans were pretty decent...riiight won 3 games all season yeah that's pretty good said no one. Bottom line QB is the leader the team looks up to, he will make the players play at his level bryce is not doing that....calling everybody a clown that's hilarious
When the Panthers drafted Bryce Young I almost cried with tears. Imagine having success with a 5'9 QB in the NFL LMAO. He needs to play another position because QB isn't it for Young in the NFL. This team went from 6'6 250 lb Cam Newton, to " Bryce Young " the Panthers are and have always been a dumpster fire LMAO.
Last Heisman winning QB to win a Superbowl? Go ahead, I'll wait
Bears had this problem for decades with the McCaskys. They finally hired Ryan Poles and gave him a free hand. He engineered that trade, got a boatload of great talent, and is poised to do it all again this year. In about 2 years the Bears will be an NFL power house. BTW this Tepper guy looks 10x stupider than George McCasky.

The Bears will be a powerhouse? Lololololol 🤡

The irony of that trade was them not only giving up their top reviver but losing the opportunity to get this years number 1 with their own draft pick. They really could have had Moore and Williams but now the bears will have that possibility. As a Texans fan I was extremely worried we’d end up with Bryce during the talks of Carolina liking CJ as their pick. Not saying Bryce isn’t good (He definitely has the skill set to play at this level) but being short as a QB with no noticeable athletic intangible to set you apart usually looks bad. Still hoping he gets better next year, but i won’t lie the Texans fan in me is glad Carolinas owner took over that pick. 😅
Bryce young genuinely has one of the worst supporting casts ever. Idk a single current QB who would succeed on the panthers...
@@Conehead0708😂😂😂
Sacked 44 Times?!?!?!
I didnt realize it was that bad.
It’s very bad…
It's also about the WAY he gets sacked -- Bryce Young has poor pocket presence, doesn't have a quick first step to escape, and if anyone puts a hand on him he flops down like a wet dishrag.
The real question is what if the panthers drafted CJ Stroud instead how their season would of played out
BOOM!!! 💯
wouldn’t change much at all. look at the oline and receivers
@@maybesomaybeno You mean look how Young can't read the defense and holds the ball to long
"Bigger stronger qb that can take more of a beating?" Wtf? If Bryce takes much more of a beating he should sue the Panthers for assault. Dude took so many hits and still standing. He is crazy accurate. I read somewhere that he only missed something like 1 out of 12 open receivers over like 12 games. The real problem is Panthers has a 1.2 second avg pocket which is why they wanted a QB like Bryce to scramble out of it. I swear Panthers and my Bears should merge into one shit org lol. all QB need a good WR and o line thats not an argument , that's what drafts are for. People want instant magic, not work lol
I'm not emotionally prepared to watch this....
Hope you’re feeling better after this video lol
He's not a bust. Its the panthers offensive scheme thats the problem. If you put young in a different offensive scheme i bet you he'll be good. They have to find the right coach
You can’t scheme without weapons to create
I thought the Panthers were fine with Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield competing for the QB job. QB wasn't the problem with the Panthers. Steve Wilks did a fine job as interim HC and should have been kept. And RB Christian McCaffrey and WR D.J. Moore should never have been traded. Note that Darnold Wilks and McCaffrey are with the 49ers now, which shows they weren't the problem.
It’s a qb problem and line problem. Just overall team problem right now
@@KrichProductions Sure, now that vets Darnold and Mayfield are gone and Bryce Young is QB we have a QB problem.
I disagree strongly, how can you judge Young with this situation
He has been given ample opportunities to succeed imo. However, he does need some more help with everything
As a Bears fan, I thank all of Carolina for the opportunity
Young is a bust but Tepper is a meddling moron. I don't think any respectable coach will ever go to that franchise now that the secret is out about Stroud. He got rid of his two weapons, drafted the wrong QB, and hired a terrible coach in Reich. I watched him flounder in Indy. The man has no instinct as a head coach. After watching him fail in Indy to the point Irsay had to fire him mid season when he had never done that before, why would you give him a big contract?
Carolina hasn't surrounded him with help, but Bryce has yet to throw for 250 yards in a game. That's worse than rookie Zach Wilson or current Zach Wilson for that matter.
Andy Dalton came in 1 game and threw for about 400 yards and 3 td with those same garbage weapons. At some point, we can't keep finger pointing at everyone but Bryce and have to face the elephant in the room that bryce may just not be an NFL quality QB.
I would hope a 10+ year vet would do something. But damn context much? Andy Dalton played Seattle who is ranked 30th in yards per game in 2023. Who also threw the ball 58 times. And no it was for 361 yards not 400. Bro not even close 😂😂😂😂😂
I use to think Young just didn't hav the receivers around him. But recently watching Bryce miss guys that are open,& seems to always be at 3rd n long. Man i just dont know if the kid can make it.
Lowest yards per dropback, season (since 2000) 1.Jimmy Clausen 2. Bryce Young
That's terrifying. Most elite QB prospects join bad teams when they enter the league. Young is underperforming all of them.
I just watched the Panthers draft and now that I’m seeing this I almost screamed
this was a really well done and edited video
Appreciate it brotha
Tepper just needs to be an owner and not a Coach / Player staff decision maker. He's not informed at all.
Terry Bradshaw was the worst QB in the league his first two seasons, and then went on to win four super bowls.
Alabama and USC quarterbacks never = Super bowl champions.
Fantasy sports league and modern day sports commentary has ruined the way we analyze NFL players. Always a hater so quick to label someone as a ‘bust’ or ‘trash’.
Nice detailed content! Great video
Thanks
Bro you gotta trademark that “complete bust” lol
Great video
This is not only stupid but full of misinformation, or lies if you want to be honest.
The Panthers tried for year to solve their problems with a new QB.. problem is they needed to focus on improving the Oline.. AND playing to the strengths of the Oline.. ie RUnnINg the ball, down hill blocking scheme and playaction.. theyve got a great D.. complimentery football says you jsut need a DECENT Offense to contorl the clock and move the ball.
Bryce is not a bust, the Panther's owner is.
Hopefully they can turn it around
You talk about Bryce being too small yada yada blah blah. But out of the top 3 QB's of his draft year Anthony Richardson, CJ Stroud and my man Bryce he is the one that has successfully withstood the most hits this season, because the Panther's
O- Line can't protect him for isht. Most hits withstood isn't a statistic that you want associated with your QB but it's relevance in the story you're trying to sell is unmistakable. He is the only one of the three that has not been concust and not started games by virtue of the concussion protocol. He has proven his toughness by being the last man standing whilst Stroud and Richardson are rushed to the nearest emergency room for a CT Scan on their brain. Those other two are good no doubt but Bryce has escapability and when can't escape he knows how to take a hit in a measured way, in a way that won't leave his brain frazzled. In other words his intangibles are off the charts.....Youzzzeeard...
All that rambling and still no where near the talent of CJ

I'm a SEC fan. I know that CJ Stroud and Marvin Harrison Jr. played superbly against Georgia's vaunted defense. I hate to say this, but I agree with the people that say OSU would have won if Harrison Jr didn't get hurt. The scouts say how great Stroud was but David Tepper knew better. He's the NFC South's version of Dan Snyder. What pains me is that our old (I'm a Bucs fan) OC was named head coach. He deserves better.
Owners should stay the hell out of the draft process.
All they bring to the table is the money...Thats it!!!
That they think they can evaluate a player better than the coaches and scouts is ludicris.
I think they should let the gm’s do their job
They literally own the team lol.
“He doesn’t have any weapons” why are people acting like all of CJ’s weapons weren’t no names last year that no one cared abt. CJ made them good.
Before the season everyone had CJ going into the worst situation in the league. It’s funny how everyone switched up now.

Neither one of them were 1st overall picks. Both got drafted to playoff caliber teams with zero need for them at the time. Bryce was 1st overall. Former Heisman. I don’t feel like you can really say he a bust unless he literally throws bad balls or takes unnecessary sacks , but if the team is not a good team an has a (bad line) an no good receiver, THEN EVEN Brady would be called a bust , he has to have atleast 1 weapon an atleast 3-4sec to throw the ball then throw bad balls to call him a bust
Not how the league works anymore. Need results now or you're done unfortunately
You are giving the Sam Darnold rope-a-dope, Panthers said the same crap about him Jets are a bad team, he has no help, no line, change of scenery will help, the simple fact was that he was just not good, and most likely that is the case with Bryce.
Newsflash he throws bad balls and takes unnecessary sacks. He's not an accurate passer over 15 air yards. His pre snap reads suck. His pocket awareness sucks. Literally tries to run away from clean pockets because he's too short to see good but stands 10 toes down when it collapses. Hes just not a good QB man. He peaked in college surrounded by above average to elite talent.
He is bottom of the NFL in off ball throw percentage and pressure created.
His adjusted completion percentage is not even in the top 32 in 11-20 and 20+ yard throws.
Those two things directly relate to taking bad sacks and throwing bad balls.
this aged well
Yea, beating the Falcons is insanely impressive lol
The Chiefs gave up their 2017 2nd-round pick, 2018 1st-round pick, to move up 18 spots to pick Mahomes in 2017. The Panthers gave away A LOT more to move up just 8 spots to get Young. What a disaster. The Bears FLEECED the Panthers.
Should’ve never picked him !!!!! I said on draft night that we just made a 5 year mistake !!!! Bust
No player should be considered a bust nor a future hall of fame player after just one year in the NFL. I personally believe in the sit a year or even 2 and develop the QB. Look at Greenbay Packers who now on there 3rd straight franchise QB as love looks to be the real deal and his numbers are currently MVP level and likely will keep getting better and better as he keeps growing together with his young wide receivers and tight ends who are all talented. Feel bad for Bryce young as he got drafted to a team with no offense line that lets him get hit a endless amount of times which can eventually destroy a quarter back mechanics and his confidence and mess with the clock in his head and make him start hearing footsteps in his mind even if no one is near him. His best thing on his offense there to help him is a 33 year out wide out from Minnesota who is still pretty good I must say, but really is a top level #2 wide out and that been proven and sadly he wasting his final years in the league in Carolina. Regardless of any of that personally I don't believe it a good idea to draft a QB who is so short really anything under 6 foot is too small for nfl QB and young weight is like under 200 pounds yikes so light for a pro QB.
This is the dumbest thing I've seen all day, same thing with us and mac Jones there is no team cant blame the qb if he has nothing 😂
Young needed a red shirt year also he just a rookie. Young is a rookie who has a owner who is failing the team
How is it OVER? Guy played 1 season with a bunch of practice squad guys. I feel that with a good OLine and a couple weapons he could be a pretty good QB.
In Carolina, Young is the WRONG QB, on the wrong team. He has a mediocre O line, and no real quality skill players around him. What could go wrong? Give him the offense he had at Bama, and you'll see the Bryce Young that made him the No.1 pick. You can give the best race car driver a Volkswagen, and he'll still lose to a mediocre driver in a Ferrari. Young is not a bad football player. But this was a bad pick by Carolina based on what they needed. For those Bears fans who said they should've dumped Fields and drafted Young, just STFU. You don't know football. He would've taken the SAME beating, or worse in Chicago. They got a franchise receiver in Moore, the next No.1 pick, and a LOT of options for their GM Poles. Stroud in Houston is the example of the RIGHT QB on the right team. Having said that, Young is not a "bust" IMO. He is in a position where he will continue to struggle and take punishment for the foreseeable future if Carolina's front office doesn't make some bold, decisive, and smart moves in the offseason. As well as spend some cash.
Him being short has absolutely nothing to do with performance. People are weird. Being tall doesnt make you a better QB at any level.

Let me get this straight. Instead of letting your watchers turn on CC if they want it, you made the CC in the video which takes away from the video. Not only that, the captions are wrong way too many times. Besides that. Young will be a bust, but its not all on him. Smaller frame QBs wont have a place in the NFL soon. Previously, their only advantage was to be nimble and extend the play with their feet. Now we have linemen and LB's that are just as quick and nimble that can take away that advantage.
It's his rookie year.
If this continues, it might be his last
Bruh even anthony richardson and will levis have shown flashes and they were label “raw” and “projects” but when you actually watch them play they dont look like that at all Bryce just cant keep up physically
Listen i am a bama fan and i want to let the panther fans to give bryce young some time this is still his rookie year . Now if this spills to his sophomore season then we might need to call bryce young a bust and a mistake of picking him
I don't think it's fair to say he's bad. Sure you can say elite players should elevate those around but I think even mahomes would struggle in Carolina. We will know in time if he is good bad or average.
I think Carolina is more at fault. Drafting a 5'9" qb number one overall was a bad move. If they wanted young, they probably would've been able to get him with that no 9 pick.
That's a lie, Young was not falling to Number 9. Bryce Young was either Number 1 or 2 on everyone's draft boards. Don't make retrospective decisions based on results of this season. You have to go back to this off-season and look at the draft pre trade and realize that Young would have never fallen to Carolina at 9 because there were multiple teams that were looking for a QB in front of Carolina. That's why they made the trade to Number 1.
Give him some time lol. It’s the NFL. You saw how long it took Geno Smith to pan out
I wouldn’t call Geno Smith “panning out” or compare the 1st overall pick to an experimental qb pick..
