I think it is even more difficult to listen to songs than movies. To me, that's the legend level of spoken English.

I love English and I’ve love it since I was 10 or eleven I guess, from the roots, my father studied it two months at ICPNA but couldn’t finish his studies because of so many different things about his life, economic reasons, mainly. He’s a retired police officer and nowadays I try to teach him as much as I can or sometimes I translate some news We use to watch on tv in in channels like CNN, for instance. I am so grateful with the chance he gave me a couple of years ago to study and finish my english studies, as same as college too (my major is tourism and hotel management) We are from Lima, Perú. I might be such a good business because there are a lot of foreign visitors here and if I speak English, of course I can be able to open up myself with them socially and professionally speaking. Now I’m thinking about studying the methodology course, which certifies me with English as a foreign language, then probably study translation, and comsequently other languages too, I tried to do it but didn’t finish because I have been too busy with courses but now I am more free to do it. I just hope that Covid19 suddenly disappears to normalize all activities we can do, even traveling that is of course on my plans.

I've listened to one topic from Topic You Should Know for 4 times on Rocket Player, and I've slowed down the speed. It seems to be helpful for my understanding. Thank you. However, I have one question: after listening to 4 times with slow speed (I took it at 0.7, since the speed lower than 0.7 would make their talking/sound very strange), I am still not quite familiar with what they are talking about, and there is no script to make sure my guessing. Therefore, I need your advice. Thank you.
