    Jasmine one thing that I have noticed about all the regions that you filmed at is that all the women work extremely hard for their families. The women work as One. They are a strong 💪team, they don't cut corners and come out with the best products and the work ethics is PHENOMENAL. Again Excellent Video.

    👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿Jasmine. About the month break for fishing, it is about the depletion of fish which fishermen have been complaining about. So this strategic period is to. allow the fishes to reproduce more and more and for the little fishes to mature and also be able to reproduce to increase the fish population. You know in advanced countries catching fishes of a certain small size is not allowed for the same reason that the fishes do not get to grow to reproduce hence depletion of the resource.
    So like everybody else they may have to save a little for the lean season, get some much needed rest for their hard, tired bodies, the men use the time to do some major repairs for their canoes, nets etc. it was tough in the beginning but I believe they are adjusting to it.

      How does one close up the ocean? It’s vast. There’s numerous fish swimming in it. Enough for all people throughout seasons. It’s the people livelihood. In the beginning God said for us to take dominion over the earth and oceans as well. Comment made is my thought.

    • @dannydct1
      @dannydct1 Před 2 lety +4

      @@katherinemcconico982 katherine i thought it would have been quite obvious but since u ask me to explain i will. Different fish live in different parts of the ocean. The fish that are being fished live relatively close to shore in shallower waters they live and breed there so just like anywhere in the world if u over fish the pool it will deplete so when the fishermen go out to fish in the Ghana waters there would obviously be a depletion of stocks hence they would come back with a lack of stocks. deeper sea vessels could simply fish other areas but these are local fishermen who fish quite close to shore. Hope this helps u understand aquatic life.

No Chinese will allow no African in China doing something like that.

    The fish looks so good. I could eat fish everyday. Grew up around the ocean.

    Great content, very educational. I will assume the reason for fishing restrictions is to curb over fishing. If you do not give time for the parent stock to breed or the baby fish to mature they'll be nothing left to fish.
