I see something so strange, 3 days ago I added SMBS to the gold solution, the next day I saw the black Gold oxide forming at the bottom of the glass.. I leave it because I was in the vacation, after 3 days when I back I accepted the separation process going more well due to the long time but I see nothing on the beaker… that amount who already settled are gone..I can’t understand whats happening, more strange is the tin chloride test shows nothing in this solution..is anyone saw this stupid issues?

@@TrinityGoldRecovery I think he means the tightness of the weave of the filter. Like how much the filter let's through it. He doesn't realise the filters are paper not wire.
I think he uses paper coffee filters not wire filters. And he burns them anyway. And when he's using a funnel he uses cotton instead of a filter. Cheap and easy to get, both of them.

@@shakibmalik6641 i wil answer you, betwen 1-3 grams SMB for each gram of gold you expected. If you not know how much gold is in soluțion, ad disolved SMB in soluțion litle by litle and stir until white foam apears. That is all.

You can make a do-it-yourself Dolly pot, it's basically a big pipe welded to a steel plate. Then you just get a solid steel rod and smash the oscillators to a pulp. No need to grind. You just have to open them up so the acid can get inside.

Every oscillator is different, some have no gold plating, some do, some have gold legs, gold bond wires and gold plating so yields will vary A LOT depending on what you have because some oscillators have nothing but silver
What is that actually worth? Like 200 bucks? 🎉 And how much time and how much product and how much materials and how much did you pay for all that to get that?
I really don't know it's actual worth, because_I collect those from 100 pounds old laptop boards...

Dear Bro. Looks all good but I find you are using by far too much of the chemicals. Also I find you are using Aqua Regia too early. I would add another step of HCl before AR to dissolve base metals, then it will take far less AR to dissolve the gold. Let´s forget about silver, but those components will also contain a fair amount of Pd and some traces of other very rare PMs. So there may be some more values in the liquids used and the solid remains. So refiners §1: Don´t throw anything away! Cheers Marcel
