Besides the Elemental film by Pixar and the D&D film coming up I am just flabbergasted by how unexcited I am by every film for 2023, I would literally pay money NOT to see most of the films coming out next year.

Here's my idea for a plot. The Democrats and Republicans recruit superheroes to fight who they each perceive as the "real" enemies. The Dems' heroes fight systematic and corporate corruption and destroyers of the ecology. The Repubs' fight crime and who they perceive as "anti-American terrorists." The final battle occurs when the two superhero groups clash over activists the Dems consider freedom fighters and the Repubs consider terrorists. Whatcha think?--Keith

Will Smith’s Emancipation! This type of fully masculine male character is a breath of fresh air! The Kevin Costner character is also on my list. There are some good ones here. Please no more woke agenda based themed movies.

What do you think Emancipation is? Whites must be reminded that they are the bad guy. Lest they forget, we get Woke trash like Emancipation and Chevalier. For example, what are the chances Emancipation will mention that the Democrat party founded the KKK? Any chance it will credit the Republican party with the idea of emancipation in the first place? The most important players will be left out, or worse, replaced, and all events will be dumbed down to "whites bad, everyone else good". Remember this post when you realize the movie sucks.

@@vaeshethblade931 Emancipation seems to be a movie about one of America’s bloodiest moments in history. The North fighting South, brothers fighting brothers, and yes some whites fighting blacks. Whipped Pete’s story is pivotal in American history. It’s not woke, it is what it is.
I’m no historian but being a child of the South and living in Places like Richmond, Tennessee, Alabama etc civil war battle skirmishes is a thing I can’t wait to see those images on the big screen. I hope to see real villains and heroes, mud and muck, all mixed in with gunpowder and blood. The civil war and slavery is multi layered and a movie about slavery in Louisiana, that’s a special case. They would need a trilogy just to touch on the unique culture that developed as a result.
