#HonestTrailers - Krátké a kreslené filmy
In the late 2000s, my family went on vacation and we saw the tv-edited version. We lost it at “I am tired of these monkey-fighting snakes on this monday-to-friday plane!” 😂
2nd best TV dub ever, right after "Yippee-kay-yea, Mr. Falcon"
@@kevinhegwood615I heard a “Yippee-ki-yay, melon farmer!” 🍈👨🌾
@Simulation algorithm that's f'ing hilarious. Never watched "Lebowski" on anything other than dvd. Now I want to find a network version...just for the "shins and giggles."
The most quoted line from the movie; I use it every time I argue--without question--that Sam Jackson is that MF'er😅🤣😂!!!
Plane apparently only flies on Monday-friday
Honestly, the opening-night theatre experience for this was unmatched. The entire crowd in on the ridiculousness, hissing in unison anytime snakes were on screen, plastic snakes being thrown around constantly. It was absurd and majestic.
Damn! That sounds fun
Ahahaaa! It really was amazing. I still have a Snakes on a Plane necklace.
Jealous here.
It had a rocky horror vibe👍
oh yeah same, we treated it like watching a cult classic on day one, and not a single person in the theater could hear Sam Jackson's line that followed the legendary meme line over the cheers.
I also love that the studio wanted to call it "Flight 343" or something but Samuel L Jackson fought them to keep its original title. Plus the film basically only happened because Samuel loved the pure ridiculousness of the script.
Samuel "the fucking title is the reason I signed onto this movie" L. Jackson
Yet another reminder that Samuel L Jackson is the highest grossing movie star of all time. Yes it’s thanks to being in Jurassic Park, Star Wars and the MCU movies, but glad that next to great films like Do The Right Thing, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Django Unchained he has Snakes On A Plane 🤣
@@NotMeNaNaNa he's also simply been in MORE films than anyone else. hardest working actor of all time
Pacific Air Flight 121, according to Wikipedia. Honest Trailers should have used that for the ironic title.
Makes sense. There isn’t much sprinting in this movie
Best title section ever.
"Snakes on a Plane" is tough to beat, but "Monty Python's Flying Serpents" comes close.
Very true. 10 points for slytharin was snarky af tho 😂. The narrator had way too much fun with it in this one but made it one of his best.
This movie had an idea. It delivered on that idea. Can't ask for more.
God damn right
*intense Samuel L Jackson voice*
There was an idea. To bring together a group of remarkable snakes, to see if they could be on a plane. To see if they could plane together when we needed them to, to fight on a plane like we never could.
Honestly, anyone who watched this expected something more, it's on them for sucking. I mean I didn't watch the film and I kinda knew what it's gonna be about.
0:50 Warner Bros and Disney continue to do listen to them and they keep failing at the box office
Can we please celebrate/acknowledge 10 years of the lovely Jon Bailey being the epic honest trailers voice guy?
He nailed it with the Airplane ✈️ and Beavis and Butt-Head transitions! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
F***ing Ten Years!? The Internet has grown old...
no
give it up for the good man!
He's the only reason I watch these.
The part where they break down the bad guy’s plan reminds me so much of the ‘The emperor’s new groove’ when Izma decides to turn Kuzco into a harmless little flea that she can put in a box to mail to herself then smash with a hammer.
I'm a simple man. When I see appreciation for Yzma, I upvote.
Okay, but seeing this on opening night was still one of the most entertaining experiences of my life. It was LIT in that theater.
That transition into the "Airplane" characters was hilarious.
And I didn't realized that the introduction scene changed into Airplane. Lol.
Ted Striker would have had that plane down. And down safe!
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit spying on mob bosses.
@@stephenfender5895 Well... the automatic pilot would have anyway.
Hey! Don't call me Shirley.
When Honest Trailers can't come up with a better title, that's the sign of a true quality film! Lol
Idk 10 point for slitheren kinda sold me
3:02 "Sam Worthington of Jai Courtneys" One of the best diss ever. 🤣🤣🤣👏👏 Whoever wrote that line needs a raise.
That line was amazing. (Also realized the other night that if avatar was made today they’d totally put Chris Pratt in the lead, and suddenly I appreciated Sam Worthington so much more.)
This was probably my favorite cinema experience. I went to a midnight release. It came out when I was in college, went with like 20 students. The theater was packed. If there was anyone 100% sober in that theater, I would be surprised. Everyone knew what it would be, and just had a great time.
Yeah. It was obvious that a large amount of alcohol was needed with this movie. Amazed that it wasn't immediately profitable.
Hᴇʏ ᴛʜᴀɴᴋs ғᴏʀ ᴡᴀᴛᴄʜɪɴɢ🤗 ᴍᴏɴᴛʜʟʏ Gɪғᴛs ᴄᴏɴᴛᴇsᴛ ɪs ᴏɴ & ʏᴏᴜ'ᴠᴇ ʙᴇᴇɴ sᴇʟᴇᴄᴛᴇᴅ ᴀᴍᴏɴɢsᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴏɴsᴏʟᴇ ᴘʀɪᴄᴇ ᴡɪɴɴᴇʀs ᴛᴇxᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴀʙᴏᴠᴇ ɴᴀᴍᴇ ᴏɴ ᴛᴇʟᴇɢʀᴀᴍ ғᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʀᴇᴡᴀʀᴅ 🎉🎁..
My favorite detail of this movie is when they kill the snake with a microwave they actually hit a “snake” button on the microwave like a popcorn button lmao 😂
Hɪ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ Tʜᴀɴᴋs ғᴏʀ ᴡᴀᴛᴄʜɪɴɢ😄 I'ᴍ ʀᴀɴᴅᴏᴍʟʏ ɢɪᴠɪɴɢ ᴏᴜᴛ Cᴏɴsᴏʟᴇs ғᴏʀ ᴍʏ ɴᴇᴡ Cᴏɴᴛᴇsᴛ & I'ᴠᴇ ᴘɪᴄᴋᴇᴅ ʏᴏᴜ! Pʟᴇᴀsᴇ ᴛᴇxᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ɴᴀᴍᴇ ᴀʙᴏᴠᴇ 👆🏼ᴏɴ ᴛᴇʟᴇɢʀᴀᴍ ғᴏʀ ɪᴛ✍🏼
Best part of watching on DVD was the hold-up-just-one-minute rewind this earned. Worth watching the whole movie just for that.
This movie knew exactly what it was about.
@@DarkElfDiva This movie knew exactly what it was.
Doesn't every microwave have a button like that?
"Monty Python's Flying Sepents" is the best pun this channel has ever done. I couldn't even laugh, it broke my brain so hatd.
10 Points For Slitherin' is a solid backup.
It broke your brain even though you were wearing a ton of hats to protect it? That is impressive.
Missed the opportunity to begin it with: "It'ssssssssssss-" though
"Monkey fighting snakes...on this Monday to Friday Plan" is the best TV dub since "Yippee ki-aye Mr. Falcon"
I saw this, opening night, midnight show, sold out theater, and it was INSANITY. Myself, my best friend, and a couple of others were in this packed theater. We all knew why we were there, we knew the basics of what to expect, but NOTHING could have prepared us for the amazing insanity that was on the screen. It was like going to the Rocky Horror Picture Show but nobody knew any callback lines yet.
This is simultaneously the most Beavis & Butthead *and* Snakes on a Plane content I've seen in over a decade.
Kinda made me want to go watch Beavis & Butthead Do America for a minute.
I laughed extremely hard
@@CoralCopperHead what about the new material that supposedly exists?
By pure coincedence I saw Beavis & Butthead reacting to Tool on MTV Germany half an hour ago and now they're part of the honest trailer :D
We need more B & B reacting to things in future honest trailers
I love how this movie didn’t seem to kill any of those actors’ careers
One, Sam Jackson has been playing with house money since 1997, and two, everyone else in it was just glad to get a paycheck.
"Monty Python's Flying Serpents"
That's it, we have our winner!
Also, that is an absurd number of steps to kill a witness....
Despite flopping this was an absolute blast to see with the right audience.
I saw it at one of the late night screenings the night before its official release, and it was some of the most fun I've ever had at a movie theater. I didn't even plan to be there that night; just walked by the theater, noticed it was showing a day earlier than I expected, and immediately bought a ticket. Absolutely the right decision.
Yeah, alright "The Sam Worthington of Jai Courtneys" absolutely slayed me. Great work.
Hɪ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ Tʜᴀɴᴋs ғᴏʀ ᴡᴀᴛᴄʜɪɴɢ😄 I'ᴍ ʀᴀɴᴅᴏᴍʟʏ ɢɪᴠɪɴɢ ᴏᴜᴛ Cᴏɴsᴏʟᴇs ғᴏʀ ᴍʏ ɴᴇᴡ Cᴏɴᴛᴇsᴛ & I'ᴠᴇ ᴘɪᴄᴋᴇᴅ ʏᴏᴜ! Pʟᴇᴀsᴇ ᴛᴇxᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ɴᴀᴍᴇ ᴀʙᴏᴠᴇ 👆🏼ᴏɴ ᴛᴇʟᴇɢʀᴀᴍ ғᴏʀ ɪᴛ✍🏼
But Jai Courtney was actually great in Suicide Squad, which is one more movie than Sam "Default Male Human PC" Worthington was good in.
Sam Worthington had (surprisingly) good dramatic training. He IS good when he sticks with his strength, which is "good-looking-Aussie-guy-next-door-with-a-shifty-side". There, his performances look like skilled and naturalistic underplaying.
In everything else... oh dear 😕
the dialogues in this movie is pure gold!! tarantino would be proud
Yeah, but are there any feet?
Nah, insufficient N-slur content.
It took about a year of continuous requests, but you finally said the Lumberjack line and I am grateful. Thank you Epic Voiceover Guy
It took me nearly 3 years of asking in every single video, but I finally got him to say "Marmalade in my trousers on a Thursday afternoon" when they did Wonder Woman 84.
In this era where we are often promised a lot and not given much, this movie promised something and delivered it.
Say it with me:
"I have had it with these monkey-fighting snakes on this Monday to Friday plane!"
To quote Ratatouille, "Pure poetry."
This is what happens when you find a stranger in the alps.
I didn't know they're was a version of that. In my country it's the original, or ot would be bleeped
That took me out! 🤣🤣🤣
"Monty Python's Flying Serpents" is BRILLIANT, one of the best fake titles you've ever done!
Is that mean we'll get Honest Trailers for Monty Python's and the Holy Grail???
Yes please!
2nd best of these four is definitely Reptile Wins.
The funniest thing about this movie, was the audience reaction in the theater!
Maybe it is just a coincidence, but the writing for the past two trailers has been significantly better than what I have been getting used to these last couple of years. Mild, infrequent chuckles are now regular guffaws. I hope you all maintain this level of quality and, if someone has just joined your writing staff, give them a raise!
I trhink it's because it's been movies besides the usual Marvel/Star Wars/whatever franchise is limping along.
@@filthybonnet You might be right. We also might have just been lucky with two home runs with Snakes and Demolition Man. M3GAN's honest trailer was disappointing. Or rather, it was the same mild chuckles that I was getting used to.
One of the most iconic films of all time.🐍
A masterpiece
If you mean Airplane... I agree.
If you meant this?.... Then, I picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue.
One of the most films of its time.
Don't forget Sharknado!!!
Definitely needs a space in the Library of Congress.
I waited 16 years to watch this movie through Honest Trailers. Thanks.
2:44 - "say what again I dare you."
In terms of overcomplicated villain plans, this may take the cake.
***ONLY*** Samu L. could deliver that dialog: "I have had it with these monkey-fightin' snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane!" Cinematic history, my peeps. Pure cinematic history.
That Bevis and Butthead part was brilliant 🤣👌🏻
B&B segment was genius immaculate perfect brilliant thank you
Pregnant Woman: "Help! There are two pregnant women on board!"
Butthead: "How did that happen?"
I think we need your help deciphering Everything Everywhere All At Once
Samuel L is so cool that he was the only passenger on a plane that could walk around in the heat with a leather jacket on and not break a sweat.
My first R-rated movie I saw by myself in theaters. I'll always remember it for that if nothing else.
Of all things to remember about this movie and theres a lot - I remember screening this movie for a friend that had not seen it on DVD and he was fooled by the rain on the surroundsound during the first part of the flight. Lol I was like “no man it ain’t raining it’s the movie” - out of all the bombastic surroundsound filled movies I have played for him of all movies to actually fool him. It was this one lol.
10 Points for Slytherin had me :D
I don't know what I love most: the fact you finally did snakes on a plane, the Airplane section or the ending title list 😂
Went to the theaters to see this. Anytime Sam looked perturbed, I was like “Say it, Sam. Say how tired you are and what it is you are tired of. SAY IT!”
When he finally did, I cheered loudly.
Anyway, do a Superman & Lois Honest Trailer.
"Reptile wins" cracked me up
so wait, the meme is from a movie that was meme'd to existence? that's the opposite of the snake eating itself
Snake shitting itself? 🤔
Ok I lost it at “I have had it with these monkey fighting snakes on this Monday to Friday plane!!!” That’s just hilarious!!!! And I did not know that was a thing!!!!
Glad those 5 ppl that requested this have finally gotten what they asked for…
I remember the hype for this film. It was so big that G4TV had snakes put onto Olivia Munn and she freaked out big time.
Ah yes, G4TV. A real shame that their industry got bankrupted due to an recent drama.
I was in 1st Grade in Alaska when this came out. I knew nothing about the hype surrounding it online or had even seen a Trailer for it.
My school had just went through an intense School Shooting Drill that actually was due to a Traumatic event that occurred in the Neighborhood,
and the week after I came into school my Teacher gave the entire class individual envelopes.
In my envelope was a Free Movie Ticket,a Candy and a Popcorn of size when I went to the theaters next.
I came home and showed my Dad the Tickets and he told my 2 brothers and his Girlfriend "Alright everyone, let's go to the movies".
We walked into the Theaters and handed over the Coupon and they asked us what movie we planned to see. Since it was my ticket,it ended up being my choice to pick.
The only movie that looked interesting was a little film called "SNAKES ON A PLANE".
I asked if we could see that and the rest was history.
"the sam worthington of jai courtneys" WHATTTTT?!?!?!?!?!? What an iconic line. omg i want to marry whoever wrote that line
Monty Python’s Flying Serpents is pure comedic genius.
Does anyone else remember when The Suite Life on Deck did a parody of this movie and actually had Mr. Moseby deliver the famous line?
The episode "Snakes On A Boat"? I cracked up when he said his version of the line! (Censored with the cruise ship's horns)
We're shooting on a plane set today and all I can think about is Snakes On A Plane. So thank you!
That part with the guy with the drinking problem, it still makes me LOL after all these years. Beautiful!
Laughed so hard and unexpectedly for Slytherin I pulled a back muscle
Screen Junkies needs a Samel L Jackson playlist that includes this, Deep Blue Sea, Pulp Fiction, etc.
"Serpents on a Flying Machine" would also be a great alternate title.
no.
I saw that the guy is here for 10 years in another comment: So how about the rest of the crew tells him a happy 10th year anniversary in the endcard? Great job, from everyone involved I hope you keep it going for another 10 years :)
"Congratulations Nathan Phillips, you are the Sam Worthington of Jai Courtneys"...greatest line in the history of honest trailers!!!!!
😂😂😂😂
This line killed it
I’ll never forgive the internet community for letting me down by not showing up for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
I been trying to rewatch that movie again on my phone,
But i can't,
Because it doesn't want to show on my streaming movie app.
@@jeuryrabassa4724 looks like it’s on Netflix. Or I’ve got the Blu-ray, if you want to borrow it.
@@bird3713 i would love to.
Cause i love that movie.
I was just about to make a comment about the TV edited version. Thank you for including it.
The funny thing is that, since the mobster was ok with killing everyone on the plane, the snakes could've just been a big box of C4
How could you forget about the unironically great movie song from the aptly named Cobra Starship
Hᴇʏ ᴛʜᴀɴᴋs ғᴏʀ ᴡᴀᴛᴄʜɪɴɢ🤗 ᴍᴏɴᴛʜʟʏ Gɪғᴛs ᴄᴏɴᴛᴇsᴛ ɪs ᴏɴ & ʏᴏᴜ'ᴠᴇ ʙᴇᴇɴ sᴇʟᴇᴄᴛᴇᴅ ᴀᴍᴏɴɢsᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴏɴsᴏʟᴇ ᴘʀɪᴄᴇ ᴡɪɴɴᴇʀs ᴛᴇxᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴀʙᴏᴠᴇ ɴᴀᴍᴇ ᴏɴ ᴛᴇʟᴇɢʀᴀᴍ ғᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʀᴇᴡᴀʀᴅ 🎉🎁.
I've never watched the movie but I've always loved it just based on the memez 😂
Now also based on this hilarious Honest Trailer!
greatest film of all time.
Honestly the music video for this movie by Cobra Starship did a better job of realistically putting snakes on that plane then the actual movie did.
I remember the day I watched this on premiere day in the theaters. Pure Glory from beginnIng to end.
Yea, I rewatched this and the nostalgia wore off, but sam J makes everything entertaining
2:52 I completely forgot about the costar
Black Snake Flown had me cackling
We all know "monkey fighting snakes on this Monday to Friday plane" is way better than two MF bombs, even when they're delivered by the master of the MF.
“The Sam Worthington of Jai Courtneys” 😂 best line
OK, now you have to do a Honest Trailer for the Long Kiss Goodnight.
Honest trailers: Great video on SOAP, what a nostalgia trip to seeing this movie at midnight with my friends (yes we were that lame) back in 2006. You really missed an opportunity however to drop the "Allen" raptor in this video I feel however. Could have showed him on the plane getting attacked by a snake, or perhaps walking behind his fellow Jurassic Park alumni Samuel L. Jackson. I hope Thanos's snap didn't disappear the raptor for eternity, we haven't seen him in awhile in one of these videos.
Beavis and Butthead had me ROLLING! 🤣🤣🤣
A few years after this movie, I was running a D&D campaign and the party ended up going thru a portal to another plane of reality. They encountered snakes, nagas, and finally Yuan-Ti. It wasn't until the last encounter that they got the reference/pun. :)
That Beavis & Butthead reference would have been absolute aces if they actually got Mike Judge to voice them.
"Reptile Wins" hysterical!! That's a flawless victory
Hᴇʏ ᴛʜᴀɴᴋs ғᴏʀ ᴡᴀᴛᴄʜɪɴɢ🤗 ᴍᴏɴᴛʜʟʏ Gɪғᴛs ᴄᴏɴᴛᴇsᴛ ɪs ᴏɴ & ʏᴏᴜ'ᴠᴇ ʙᴇᴇɴ sᴇʟᴇᴄᴛᴇᴅ ᴀᴍᴏɴɢsᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴏɴsᴏʟᴇ ᴘʀɪᴄᴇ ᴡɪɴɴᴇʀs ᴛᴇxᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴀʙᴏᴠᴇ ɴᴀᴍᴇ ᴏɴ ᴛᴇʟᴇɢʀᴀᴍ ғᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʀᴇᴡᴀʀᴅ 🎉🎁..
Holy crap! That was such a good beavis and butthead impression!
It’s about time they did an honest trailer for this masterpiece
You just can't top a movie title like "Snakes on a Plane".
Snakes On A Train.
"Three Sicks Mafia"
AY YOOOOOOOOOOO lemme find out yall got *BARS* like that!!!!!!!!!!
"Drinking problem" still cracks me the f up! Honest trailer for Airplane would be funny.
Snakes - check.
Plane - check.
Can't get more honest than that
Still the only film in the last 30 years to deliver on the promise of the title.
**Face/Off has entered the chat**
You see, the snakes are a metaphor for actual snakes and the plane is a metaphor for an actual plane.
that Harry Potter joke at the end got me. Thank you for that.
10 points for Syltherin.
4:11 LOL WTF! thats actually a real trouser snake.
This was gold!
In all honesty the actual trailer is pretty honest
easily one of the top 5 movie dubs of all time. right up there with Lethal Weapon “We bury the funsters!”
We need more honest trailers from the 90's and 2000's
Please do the honest trailer of Universal Soldier. That will be funny.
3:40 That's no ordinary flight attendant, that's Lin Shaye!
You sealed the deal with "Monty Python's Flying Serpents."
The best film swearing edit since Sigourney Weaver's obvious "F*** that!" was edited into "Screw that!" for Galaxy Quest (technically not a TV edit, but she clearly didn't say "Screw" in that scene which was part of the joke according to her).
That Beavis and Butthead bit got me! LMAO
0:02 *I love that at the start of the video when they show @dgirl786’s request for this vid she puts a (2006) next to the title to make sure they didn’t do one of the other films called snakes on a plane*
Ah yes, the movie that make me laugh and panic every time I boarded a plane. :3
We need a part 2 and then eventually part 3 of this masterpiece to complete the trilogy! 😈😈😈😈
