That lady gets on my nerves, being fat doesn’t mean if you’re pretty or ugly, it means being healthy or not
Because of her arrogant, non caring suck up attitude, she is one step away from a heart attack or stroke or dead
She also is a charge to all of us because she dosnt work
@Simply Outspoken , duh, I know that.
@Simply Outspoken , I didn't know that she passed away until I scrolled up and found out that she passed away.
@UC3-WPsNQXWY7YSKHTrvznxg , yeah, her nonchalant don't care so what attitude didn't end her anywhere but dead. Her attitude sucked to high Heaven. I'm 305 pounds, being obese is not fun, it's a miserable life. I know because one time I went to Walmart with my sister and there was staring and whispering behind my back. My sister told me about it. Obesity is no life to live
My motivation for eating healthy. People like this make me happy about my own life.
I used to work for the police here In Australia and I dealt with all of the autopsy reports when there had been a sudden death, which was known as an 83. The thing that stayed with me the most is the pathologist’s description of the deceased before beginning the post mortem. They would describe the appearance of the body ie well nourished female, underweight male, etc. I never want to be (just in case I die unexpectedly) the obese female! It has bothered me enough for years, just that description of a body and apart from gaining 20kg while on cortisone, I have never been overweight in my life. I managed to lose that by myself. Never again, I hated being overweight, it felt awful!!
I observed a bunch of autopsies. When I was 16 I volunteered at our small community hospital. They got to know me very well bc I planned to go to med school. I was allowed to observe some autopsies on my own time.
Two were memorable. One guy came in on a plane from an overseas flight and collapsed. He was brought to the ER where he died. There was concern that he had some infectious disease (because of where he had flown in from.)
The next was a morbidly obese woman. She was only in her late 30’s when she came in to the ER in full arrest. I got to watch her autopsy. It was the most visually disturbing thing I had ever seen.
The pathologist was forced to change his gloves multiple times bc her body fat made his gloves so greasy. There was real concern that he might cut himself with an knife because everything was greasy from adipose. It was nasty.
If you want to know what this is like, there is a similar full autopsy on CZcams of an obese female. They don’t blur the images like on “Dr. G.” (Why bother filming then?) This is the real deal. Just search for “Autopsy On An Obese Woman: Obesity Post-Mortem.” (I would post the link but I learned that CZcams deletes posts containing links.)
This video will open your eyes. Excess fat will destroy your internal organs. In the case of the autopsy I was present at, her liver was inundated with adipose. She had nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Such a shitty way to die!
Warning: The video is really gross. I think of the autopsy I saw every time someone goes on a rant after their PCP urges them to lose weight. No - it’s not fat shaming - it’s saving your life. That’s like complaining when your PCP tells you to quit smoking. No, knucklehead, she’s not picking on you. We’re trying to keep you from dying of emphysema or COPD - another really shitty way to die.
@@ailleananaithnid2566 I have seen the same. We used to describe it as like the custard in a vanilla slice (if you know what that is). That greasy yellowy fat layer. I mean, we all have some fat. But I used to pity any pathologist who had to deal with their bodies
I felt second hand shame on their behalf! Imagine being described and having some poor person have to deal with the enormous amount of fat! Just disgusting!!
It is really hard to maintain your weight when you retire from a physical job. My weight was so easy to maintain as a nurse on a really busy ward & then in memory support aged care, but once I finished up I was really surprised by how quickly I started to gain weight simply because my activity level dropped. I imagine being a police officer is the same if you go from a busy cop making sure dumb bogans are behaving to a more sedentary life.

I’m Italian. We have a massive food culture, and the same idea that you need to love eating and be a big eater. However, NONE OF US ARE FAT
Quit bragging.
It's the sugar and seed oils. Italians eat lots of carbs, olive oils, meats. Which some consider unhealthy, but really they're not. American's food culture is high fructose corn syrup fried in soybean oil. I go to the grocery store and foods you wouldn't typically think to have added sugar, does.
Bread, peanut butter, oatmeal, "breakfast" foods that are basically dessert. Bacon, baked beans, canned fruit and soups, sugary yogurts and milks, sauces (like pasta sauce), dressings, crackers, smoothies, and of course, flavored coffee. Don't even consider Starbucks, everything is a sugar bomb.
@@Bloxicorn Last June I cut carbs to a minimum, like maybe 25g per day. I'd already cut the sugar right down but wasn't losing much weight. However, after cutting the carbs I went from 12 st 9lbs to 9 st 12lbs in 9 months (177lbs to 138lbs for the Americans; the Europeans can convert it to kilos because I don't deal in silly measurements even though I can do both).
Carbs are converted by the body into glucose but because so many carbs are eaten the body doesn't burn the glucose; instead the liver deals with it and stores it as fat. This why exercise has little effect on weight. There is so much excess glucose in the boldy from the carbs, it is used for energy. If you cut the glucose right down your body will start burning your excess fat for energy.
@quantitativediseasing9988 as a person from a normal country (germany) you disgust me with your strange freedom measurements. Just use metric like every other country in the world

"If all I had to do was lose weight.." is a statement that negates obesity as an actual disorder. People don't understand that the reasons for being obese are medical ones. If it was so easy to lose weight, obesity would not be a big issue. People are obese for various reasons but it's rarely because they wake up and decide to be 600 lbs. Usually there are deep seeded psychological issues or food addiction or an eating disorder at play. People just assume that all fat people can just change like it is so easy but when you are so obese your body and hormones change making it very difficult to overcome and many would rather just live with it than keep fighting.
@@foodiethebeauty deep seated.
I found this absolutely horrific to watch. It was like passing the scene of a devastating accident and not wanting to see dead people but not being able to look away either. My background is in psychiatry, but I don't think I have ever seen so much denial in my life. For Diane to think that her weight should just be accepted is nonsense. She must have had severe medical issues. But she just didn't see it as a problem. I think she had given up. The fellow doing competitive eating and being proud of it has just admitted he has no meaning in life apart from eating. Only Tiffany had any motivation to get to a normal weight and I hope she has been successful. But what a tragedy for everyone else.
The first step in beating addiction is accountability. 90% of addiction is psychological. As soon as I figured that out, I didn't just beat addiction...I kicked its ass.
This is exactly what I was thinking. As a nursing student I can’t fathom how easily she justifies her weight problem! She must be in excruciating pain, have diabetes, hypertension, etc. Not to mention the fact that she relies on a motorized wheelchair to get around, that alone should be a wake up call.

“there’s a history of obesity in my family”
they need to stop using that as an excuse and lose weight.
GageyyBoyy There's a history of heart disease in mine but I stay in the gym
GageyyBoyy Family history in health is often given exaggerated importance. Most health problems, like weight, cancer, etc. are behavior/environmental, not genetic, but people tend not to ignore this, maybe out of fear or guilt. The hardest problems to face are self-inflicted. I work in medicine, and one time a patient with severe COPD, from smoking, was extremely tearful about their diagnosis and hospitalization. The next day, they were upbeat, and mentioned that they remembered that in their early 20s they worked in a factory with strong smells, and THAT must of damaged their lungs (not the subsequent 40 years of hard smoking).
There's a genetic disposition to gain weight faster and have heart and health complications, but yeah it's not excuse. It should be a motivator.
GageyyBoyy not everyone can lose weight like others. Maybe try to understand that we aren't the same, many have hipper active thyroid that is a big problem for people to lose weight. Many didn't have a good childhood and made thire addiction to food. It's not easy to give up just like a alcoholic or a drug addiction.

But, he dresses nice ! xp.
the shots of the barbecue going back and forth with the operation was crazy!
When your poor health and care becomes a burden on others, you have a problem and what you are okay with no longer matters. It is ignorant and selfish.
How sad is it, that you don’t even let your kid walk to the bus stop. That is, literally across the street. Shame on you!!! That’s so beyond pathetic.
Agreed. That 11yr old kid weighs as much as i did at 22! When i was in my teens to early 20's back in the 80's i used to walk to and from school and i lived near the top of a short, (maybe 200 metres) but steep hill. The days of my dad giving me a ride to school on his way to work were few and far between but fortunately i lived like a mile from school so it wasn't a big deal and i had a couple buddies that lived in the same neighborhood so we would walk to school together. Then if i wanted to visit my friends i had to walk to their house. I was pretty active as a kid, no internet or video games back then so if you wanted to play, you had to go outside and break a sweat. My friends and I rode our bicycles all around the neighborhood, we lived close to the ocean so on weekends that was our hangout spot, of course walking to, spend half the day swimming then walking back home mostly uphill. Then sometimes afterwards a few of us would meet up and either play soccer or tennis. There was this one soccer field we would frequent which was literally next to the beach, if the ball went out of bounds chances are it would end up in the ocean. After playing when we're all hot and sweaty, you guessed it, we would go swimming. I was also on my high school swim team for a year and ran track. I was ripped back then, I looked like a human anatomy chart. 😁 I couldn't get fat if I tried so it just goes to show it's all in your life choices.
Not all public transportation is safe
Exactly 👍
I liked to walk all the way home to feel relaxed. I have that type of body that REFUSES to look fat, no matter what. So I like to walk home sometimes, as well as do sports. At least, before the quarantine
Remi Ogunsanya do you just want to argue? No way that short walk in the suburbs is dangerous

Clearly the Kim K of the family lol
The arrogance of that bitch is astounding

dont know about you, but if shes the prettiest id hate to see the rest of that family...
Hahahaha if she's the prettiest then I can only imagine how massive and ugly the rest of her family is. Lol.
@Kadie Ghannam Rateb Amen. She's massive.
What I don't get is all the really overweight medical workers, it looks as bad as them smoking. They tell you to be healthy and they weigh 300 pounds 😂
Obesity documentaries watching while on a diet are always fun.
I'm honestly confused about what decade we are in here.
It's from the mid 2000s
its from 2004
I believe this is The Decade of Decadence.

I feel so bad for the kids because they don't know any difference. They see their parents do it and they follow.
agree with you
fat culture is a scary thing
Yes. It's so sad to see the children being fed the same fast foods, huge meals at home,no exercise. It is a major epidemic, obesity.

Good thing it was only for a week..
I thought the football coach was that fitness infomercial guy with the ponytail!! Woopsie.. 😮
That woman said she's beautiful because she's happy, I literally didn't see her smile once
Not even when she's eating
I noticed it also & i can tell that shes legit lying 2 herself cuz if she was legit happy she would've taken care of her health & work on having a healthy well balanced diet
@Vladimir Putin she'd burn some calories lifting those fat cheeks though. Lol
4:48 She is smiling in the picture :)
It is a real shame that these people ( men and women ) are told to be happy with yourself no matter your weight and O guess some people can be can be but I've been overweight most of my life and though I never let it show, I never was. Now I weigh less than I did in highschool though I'm much older I really am happier about myself. Think about your health, and though it is hard put your weight out there and work on it in a sensible way and when you get to where you really want to be, you will be proud of what you have accomplished and you'll enjoy your life for real!
I found Diane’s obituary online, she died in 2006, just two years after this documentary was made. And she wondered why her family were concerned about her weight, her parents had to bury their child and they could see it coming for years but she thought they had the problem.
Yeah, she was in deep denial, bordering on delusional as well.
If she was buried, I bet it cost the parents a pretty penny for the coffin and larger plot..
At this point, it was a slow suicide.
That’s so sad. Thank you for the update.

The way that woman laughs after she says “we drive them to the bus stop”, the bus stop is basically at the bottom of her garden. It’s really not funny.
Actually it is... it's just that it's sad as well.
Ya that's pretty freaking lazy right there
I have mobility issues and even I was horrified by that...I get they said there's no sidewalk but why would he need one when he can get there through his garden?!?
I used to walk to elementary and junior high school nearly everyday, even during inclement weather. I relished that time walking in the early morning, by myself, listening to the birds chirping, seeing the sun rising over the beautiful mountain peaks. I can’t think of a better way to start the day! It’s no wonder childhood depression/anxiety is on the rise.

Also feeding kids at school is just an odd thing as an Australian to fathom!?! We only do food at schools that are mostly healthy and we don’t provide lunches paid or otherwise for all kids. In Australia kids the majority take their own packed lunch to school most times, but they can buy food from school canteens. But our kids don’t all sit down to eat a hot lunch choosing from a buffet like that…
Lunches in schoold arent all you can eat and for many kids a school lunch is - sadly - the only meals they get due to poverty. Many schools also provide breakfasts. My son's school for example also sends home a food backpack every friday during the year when we were struggling and even with a food bank we had a rough go
I have known quite a few people whose knees gave out and were facing life in wheelchairs. A few have turned their lives around…though it took several years of dieting, surgery and nutrition retraining. Not one has said, “I miss being fat.”
Diane is so defensive it's like she's trying to convince eveyone including herself that it's ok to be unhealthy

What a seriously insane place to live. That's competitive suicide and mega child abuse.
As a once badly fat borderline obese 140kg 64yr old man i ended up in hospital suddenly with Stroke threatening extremely high blood pressure no previous medical issues ever. That's when they found advanced untreated Diabetes, advancing heart disease & a condition called Myasthenia Gravis. I had to lose the weight or really suffer with high chance of death from heart attack. Today i have lost 43kgs & watch what i eat. Amazed how i can now move around & enjoy exercise for the 1st time in decades. Being fat you will soon 100% arrive at that point you go to hospital!
Congrats on the weight loss ❤

Texan all you can eat restaurants are crazy. In NZ you have set dining times of about 90mins to 2 hours and then you leave for the next sitting. Its scary that food is cheap enough for restaurants to have people sit and eat all day

Awesome comment!

Yeah..could make a lot of jokes but not sure how close I can get without crossing the line. 🤔
Ashley Nicole I came for both.I didn’t realize Texans were this big......and dumb. Ok, here come the comments. However, anyone watching this in March or April-2020 agree with this lifestyle? I’m sure everyone has heard that obesity renders you more susceptible to the corona virus.
It puts you in the higher risk group, along with several other factors. It’s just that this is something each individual has control of.
Wishing everyone Good Health for the upcoming future.
