- Hello everyone.In this video i build powerful gearbox using 550 Cordless drill motor. I think its powerful. I added a gear to 550 motor pinion gear and the speed decreased but torque increased.Torque increased exactly 6 times. So it can lift 6 kg.

You can easily increase the power of your system with a 540 motor type crawler, the mabushi that you use is around 27t, you can take a 80t motor, slower but so much torque.
And, you can make a build with ball bearings, to increase the efficience ans the time résistance :)

It seems the motor is rated at 18v, did you use a 18v supply?
No .if you check the datasheet of this motor,nominal voltage value 12v so i used 12v

You can use Brushless dc motor for long life or 775 dc motor these came to my mind

How motor suddenly stopped and hold weight?
You really did pay attention. If you are watching, sometimes it can't handle the weight. but at other times, the shaft may be stuck because there is no bearing in the system. and of course the engine has a moment of inertia.
I am surprised the threaded shaft running in the printed front panel held up and did not get chewed up. Not sure why when you had more plain shaft you did not use it. Fun project though.
Actually, it chewed up about 1-2 mm. I just have this shaft and just used.

where did you get the metal gear that is in the bit of the motor, i need that on to fix a 12v car ....
It was always attached to the end of the motor, it is a cordless drill motor
@@retsetman9698 ok, where can i get the plastic gears different sizes, do they have specific names for sizes or how can i get them i need to fix a gear box and the gears sound weird when they turn, i saw a video need to put grease but dont know wich one yet, thanks my friend!!!
I printed it with 3d printer. I think the best choise is 3d printer. Before the buy you shoul know these: module(m) and teeth number (z) . If your gearbox sound is weird, probably the module of gears which working together is not same. The module should be same. Thus, they works regularly and quite.🖐

Hey friend , pls tell me , how did motor hold that object in mid air , if you aren't giving the power , it simply just fell down , but that gearbox kept on holding that wieght , how ?? 🙂

I have looked for something similar in many places but did not find I needed something with power and with 300 rmp more or less not the typical slow box
You will use 775 motor and want 300 rpm output? Is that correct? Because 775 motor has 15k rpm at 100w power and you need reduced to 300 rpm. So reduction ratio approx. 50. There is a video about that is brian brocken youtube channel. You should watch and you can reach out to me from instagram/retsetman.

My motor information only (dc -12v-9000rpm ) and i went calculate the power ? But the power i get not logical is it 9 watt (current×voltage)
