You must mean the strange (/s) but effective handle? Actually, THAT is pretty reserved (the way I like ‘em). The sheepsfoot blade is a bit out of the ordinary. I like sheepsfoots, and if that slot is good for an easy reverse flick, I might be sold!

I think that textured green with polished edges, black hardware, and dlc would be bad ass. Either way that green on the black is just good stuff.
This presentation was really above the others. I’m gonna start my presentation today to my wife, in hopes to have her blessings to buy this bad boy. 😂
DLC doesn't lower the hrc of a blade as a blanket statement, it all depends on the temper temperature. Tool steels like rex45 and maxamet have high temper temperatures and a dlc would not have any effect on the end hrc. Good knife makers can adjust the ht to accommodate coatings and not effect the hrc. Also in a production knife that no ht information is given it could effect the final hrc by more than just 1rc point or not at all, it just depends on what is done. I know WE knives told everyone that coatings drop the hrc by 1 but there is way more to it than that.
Total success on this and I would buy one in a heartbeat. K390 is amazing!

Fantastic design. I really love it, and I’m completely jaded on the 3.5inch-ish folder genre. But this is extremely nice and fresh, and I just really like it. The total package. The blade shape and grind is incredible. I really like the scale texturing too. Very strong work. It’s obvious how these were designed by a true knife enthusiast.

K390? AMAZING! This will be the only non-Spyderco knife Ive ever seen in K390. If I can afford it, its an insta-buy for me. Thank you for using K390! K390 gang in full effect. And boy do I hate front flippers, but Im all over this.
There was a special lionSTEEL Myto in K390, they used the steel several times. But coming from Reate the heat treat will definitely beat lionsteel lol

Finally a knife guys knife. Just like you said. Actually making it thin and slicey. Instead of a pocket crowbar with an edge. Couple that with an incredible steel and you actually have something something really good. Its so rare to see thin blades at .09 let alone ones that are hollow grinds. Im pretty excited for this one.

I like how everything we talked about recently wasn't in reference to this knife, but we hit on all the points incorporated into this design. The 0.90 thou is the perfect spot imo. Also the thinness in the pocket is a huge selling point. Great design, love it👍

This looks so sweet! I love the thin blade stock, hollow grind, and the sound it makes. I want one but I told the wife I’m done buying knives now that I have a Project X. Maybe someday in the future. Hope this one sells well for you!
