  • As some may know, it doesn’t make sense to still be wearing regular Chucks that aren’t Cons “Pro” skateboarding line as they have the most padding / comfort possible. Unfortunately, Converse no longer provides the CTAS Pro Low in any color besides regular black/white. There were a few runs of different colors in the past but are no longer produced. In this quick tutorial, I demonstrate converting my high top Cons CTAS Pro into a low top pair I can enjoy wearing with shorts and ankle socks in the summer time. Keep the cardboard firmly pressed against the sole when both marking your initial outline from the lows and tracing the template (after it’s cut) on your highs. You’ll have to do your best to smooth out your lines once the cuts are made. I used a razor blade and Dremel. I haven’t gotten around to sewing the sock liner closed along the heel but decide what works for you and enjoy Pros in a variety of colors.
