great movie but why leave when he's home? wait untill he goes to work!!!! this part made no scenes except for movie suspense! *GBYAA!!!!!!!!!!!!*

Well, she did eventually left when he wasn't at home, right? I think at this point (in this scene) she wasn't cunning or strategic about it yet.

He probably had someone watching her when he wasn't at home. He made it clear he already had connections and influence. It was likely a routine for him to have others doing his bidding so he could push the limits of getting what he desired.

Sad though there are people like the husband, let alone just violent, sadistic, and will use influence to ruin someone

It is sad when someone is in this type of situation, but even tho he was punching on her and beating her up during the movie, she should've started doing that to him from the beginning once he started to put his hands on her. I don't understand why people like her are so afraid to attack back. Plus, she should've called the police from the very beginning. But she didn't want to do that cuz he was the father to her daughter. That's no excuse tho, that was also dumb on her part too. U don't have to stay with someone just cuz u guys have a child with each other. I hate how people think like that. I like the movie, but those were some dumb moves on her part.
