A man who lived life on his terms, speaking about another person who spent her life on her terms. BR Ishara is so candid in his interview. Parveen Babi was a super glamorous heroine. There has never been nor will ever be another Parveen Babi.
The interviewer is bad - keeps asking the same questions over and over again, dragging the interview. BR Ishara answers are to the point and sensible.
She must have been one heck of a beautiful sight to get noticed like that.
How can you not admire parveen Babi
She was the most stunningly beautiful Bollywood Gift to the cinema
Many took advantage of her innocent mind and beauty
Used and abused her
Such a very sad tragic of her life at the end
She was everything that Bollywood lacks today
Exactly
He is right .I think she was very open minded aur relationship me stability aur koi family support na hone ki waja se ye suffer kiya. The difference between Zeenat and Parveen is that Zeenat always wanted to get married and settle down .Her marriage was not successful but she got children and because of that she survived .
This man is really having patience. The interviewer is actually sick
LUCK + LIGHTNING NEVER STRIKE AGAIN - IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME BLESS HER
RIP PARVEEN BABI
B.R.Ishara himself is a intelligent writer n Director. He started a Cult in India with his film CHETNA with Rehana Sultan, with whome he married later. Great interview.
Interviewer is not good. She asks do you think she deserved to be on time magazine cover.🙄
Parveen Babi was very talented actress n also broaded minded person n came from a very decent rich family. Many used her for their purpose .They were not human .may her soul rest in peace
Well said sir you are very good human being the way you talk
Parveen Babi was much ahead of her time ... even current sirens are nothing compared to her. Just see her close up face in "My Name is Anthony Gonsalves" song!! And her belly swings too! Mind blowing. But what a sad life and sad ending.
A very grounded interview. Both zeenat & parveen were very confident women they were not insecure about each other or anything around them they both were way ahead of their times.
Exactly although they both suited each other's roles, I feel Zeenat Aman was the exact pick for Hare Rama Hare Krishna, yaadon Ki Bharat Parveen was the best choice for AAA and Deewar.
You deserved much better life...Parveen..😘
To the crtics who say she wasn't a good actor, producers weren't fools to cast her in big budget films with big male actors of that time if she didn't have talent. She was a bankable actor of her time, and big producers wanted her in their films. If she's on screen she overshadows everyone. One thing i'll say is that she didn't have full fledged characters to play like other actresses, like hema malini in seeta-geeta or rekha in khubsurat, umrao jaan etc. Or zeenat aman in khun bhari mang but she shone in the small roles that she has played. In namak halal she completely overshadowed smita patil's character even though patil had more screen time , in burning train her role is better than hema malini's. She had such charm that you can't help but notice her as she lights up the screen.
Very transparent & honest interview
Best information about Parveen. Thanks
BR Ishara ie Babu Ram Ishara was a man far ahead of times. I happened to listen to his long interview broadcast in two episodes on Vividh Bharti a couple of months ago. A brutally honest man, who had experienced several ups and downs in life, several raw dealings, great conviction and passion about films and clear view of life.
Very nice man, parveen obviously respected him alot, unfortunately like alot of actors the more famous a person becomes the more stress it brings.she suffered such a sad lonely ending of her life.
True. Relationship stability is the main reason
So much respect for this man for his authenticity and good human values. 👏
*Parveen Babi was very much ahed of her time*
Thanks sir apne parveen ji ko industry me introduce kiya..
Ishara is good speaker
Interviewer: " Matlab matlab matlab"
This film industry destroyed her innocence !
I don't believe she had any illness. She was very romantic lady she been let down by her male partners😢
I agree . My heart breaks made me somewhat similar to Parveen
She never had schizophrenia
What do mean? Plz Explain why she was mentally not well..I personally think she was hurt by those men who used her physically & mentally...also may be addicted to drugs & alcohol too...
Lot of people get misdiagnosed for mental disorders. Bipolar and schizophrenia are on DSM spectrum. Only highly qualified doctors can identify them properly. Rest of us just repeat what others spew in ignorance.
Then why she arrested twice in United states moreover kept with mentally disabled people when arrested at John f Kennedy airport US bcoz of her strange behavior
Jo kah rahy hain bechpan sa aisa ha unko ab samjna chaheyay tha. Bolly wood industry na usko mental illness di
Very Good Interview With B.Aar Ishara. But They Didn't Work Again I Think.
Parveen mem is roll model and BR Ishara great man
The interviewer is asking only scandalous questions
Most Gorgeous Praveen babi ❤️🧿🤍 peace to your soul
Stability and normal if not great or big family background certainly helps.Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit are examples of opposite ends of family support....
Yes,I know Salimbhai(Durani) well since my college playing days though I didn't get to play with him as I am much more younger to him!He used be very regular at CCI! He is a nice guy!❤️ The Prince of Indian Cricket 🏏!❤️
So candid ❤
Charitra starred cricketer Salim Durrani and Parveen Babi and released in 1973. She was 19 years old.
The interviwer needs training
Funny how people here in comment talk whit proud that she brought Western culture into Indian cinema and Westernized it. Instead we should feel ashamed, bcuz they had to bring the rich Indian culture to western cinema and made it Indianized and not otherwise.....
To be Westernized yeh koi fakher baat nahain hain. Alwayz proud Indian. JAY HIND❤🙏
She was not westernised in the sense which you people are making her to be. Actually she wss acting at a time when the world was celebrating women's lib. Our PM was also a lady, Mrs. Gandhi. She played roles according to requirement of the character. Infact she represented the bold Bombay urban girl. Also due to height and personality western attire suited her most. Many young girl used to dressed like her and many of her style became fashion. She did avoided pseudo stereo type aabla nari or Bhartiya nari type roles. And she was accepted by the audiences can be judged by the fact that she costarred in most of her movies with those time super star Big B and all those movies are super duper hits. From Mumbai.
Yes.
Every word this guy says is honest and truthful
Poochhna hi nahin as raha ul jalool swal poochh rahi hai bola ja nahin raha
Recording is not even professional. Can’t hear the interviewer
This interviewer can’t even be heard. Is this the quality of a recording ?? Thankfully we can clearly hear the interviewee and from his answer, guess her question. Pathetic production quality
Perhaps success & ambition led her astray & she ended up taking decisions that went against her.
Why I don't trust him.
She was brutally murdered
Dil kar raha hai thappad jad foon interwier ke she dosent know how to talk nd asking about personal life
Tell true nice contraceptive pills using
Why only Amitabh name she took she wd hv bn taken Dany kabir or Mahesh bhaty
She loved very much amithab
Don't speak of affairs. Just speak about professional.
The interviewer is a nut. She only speaking shricophanic.
I think she was a very westernised actress of her time I find her very sexy even now in 2021...that is one the reasons those mens used her & I blame her for being too westernised..& she spoke very fluent English even back them days...rip parveen.
Afridi pashtun
Why to blame her , everyone is free to live the way they want.
Kaisa aadmi hai tu
