First off, vasectomies and infertility need to be divulged before marriage by law. It's not fair to the spouse. It's fraud. Op started the relationship lnowing he was lying. He knew she wanted kids and kept it a secret because he wanted her. That was wrong. He was an AH for that. His wife was wrong for cheating. This disaster is partially Ops fault. I also think paternity tests should be mandatory at the child's birth. All bases covered.
I usually side with the cheated on spouse. But this Op really was a piece of work. He lied to his wife. Gaslit for years with the hope of being a mother and having a family, knowing he was sterile. Wasted her years that could have been spent with a man that could give her what she wanted. Realistically this marriage was never going to last. Felicia & OP aren’t open with each other & they both hide sh*t from each other. Felicia & Tom having an affair is absolutely disgusting & unforgivable. Instead of dragging along OP she could’ve woman-up & left him, yet instead she drag him along until she got pregnant. Then again cheaters always want to be a victim so bad. Her excuse for cheating is just that… an excuse. OP keeping the fact that he’s sterile is selfish as well. Let’s say Felicia didn’t cheat, or he gets with someone else in the future, he’s taking their opportunity away from being a parent. He’s holding back crucial information b/c he doesn’t want to be alone. That selfish AF. He’s taking away the woman’s choice on whether she actually wants to be with him, or go find someone who could provide what she wants. Hell they could get artificially inseminated if he told his partner about him being sterile, but instead of telling his partner he’s holding back b/c he’s insecure about it. Predictable short story. Knew it was Tom the moment his name was mentioned.
I’ve seen too many of these stories. I figured he had to be sterile almost at the beginning. And as soon as they mentioned Tom, I know he had to be sleeping with Felicia.
Also, Felicia was let Tom blast loads in her with no protection, while not sleeping with her husband at all. And still figured she could try to be delusional enough to pretend she thought her husband was the father. She should have know from the start. People are crazy sometimes. He was born with the issue not a vasectomy. Vasectomy can fail and still produce children while normally being born with such a low count, which op most likely had, never has led to children. Since vasectomy can sometimes heal itself overtime, the naturally low counts just stay that low or get lower.
Not a huge difference but even with a vasectomy get a test first.

OP is the true AH here. Most of the insecurities that lead his wife down the road she took stem from his inability to be an adult and be honest. Had Tom not of been st the right place right time so to speak she most likely would of divorced him in that last year.
