- We lived for one month in the neighborhood of Adabraka in Accra and we couldn't have chosen a better area to live in. We got to experience a slice of local life, very close to the center and we were surrounded by amazing restaurants, food stands and bars. The biggest chunk of this video is us walking through the Adabraka Market. Can you believe the size of these giant snails?
Stay tuned for the full Adabraka article and feel free to check out our

Adabraka...My Hood
No way! We lived there for over a month and miss that place! Best area of Accra in our opinion! We wrote about adabraka as well, check out the article on our Ghana Blog if you have a moment: ghana.for91days.com/?s=adabraka
Nice video but am really sorry to say that I lived and worked in Accra (living at Dansoman and working at Adabraka)
but surprisingly I didn't find Accra dwellers kind and open. Most
people were rather cold, almost unfriendly and speaking the local Twi
every where. One evening on my way home along with a colleague, we were
assaulted by two armed dudes on a motorbike. It was in 2015, at Adabraka
not far from the Trust Towers. Much love from Cameroon!
Sorry to hear that ... Maybe things changed now - we didn't have any bad experience like yours. Hope they didn't hurt you!
@@For91Days We managed to defend ourselves. Thank you.
Sorry about the experience. Accra is a nice place but I believe there are bad people in every place.
@@princecodjoe7915 I never said that there were bad people only in Accra please. Am even eager to go back to Ghana notwithstanding that bad experience
This video should be titled, "A day at the Adabraka Market."
You didn't really do justice to my hood. There's more to Adabraka than Adabraka Market. Adabraka has many attractive places to show like Kempenski hotel, colleges, universities, museum, nightlife etc etc.
We lived in Adabraka for 2 month and did do justice to this amazing area of Accra ... see for yourself: ghana.for91days.com/?s=adabraka
What is the product being handed at 1:29 ? That looks very curious!
