I was wondering how the 23x and 43x compare - this video really shows the difference very well, thanks a lot for the demo! And the sound difference is really noticeable with the 43x being much more defined and sweet, the 23x somewhat hollow. But still great for the money, I guess it smokes the competition in that price category. And a pickup upgrade is an easy thing to do now. Nevertheless, I'd go for the 435 or even the 735. Yep, I like 5 strings. My first bass was also a Yamaha BB, the G5. Very different from the current models, but still a nice bass.

Я не очень понимаю принципиальное отличие в звучании инструментов разных торговых марок)))) Зато за долгие годы музыкальных самокопаний я пришёл к выводу - никогда с плохим уровнем игры не получится хорошо сыграть ни на каком инструменте, и наоборот, на плохом инструменте можно хорошо сыграть с хорошим уровнем игры... Вы играете классно. Вдохновляет👍

Я раньше думал что если будет Fodera за 10к$ то буду играть максимально круто, выдалась возможность поиграть на такой, и этот инструмент очень четко указал на мои слабые места)) с тех пор я понял что чем дороже инструмент тем требовательнее нужно быть к своему уровню игры
You already know why I'm here... except this time, I'm liking these basses as much as the monster groove! Personally, I prefer a reverse P on a 5 string but these sound great. Excellent work here!
Awesome video. I have a yamaha bb235 in a black finish(just like the video here) and it is a great sounding bass guitar. it's got a killer p-bass sound and it's suitable for any genre. including metal. \m/ I also liked the yamaha bb435. it's got that punchy jazz bass sound. these are one of the best bass guitars I've ever own right next to the yamaha trbx basses.
Great playing!!! I like your rockin' groove!!. I am a four strings guy so I would go for the 434, more tight and great dynamics response. And this blue color is cool. Compared to 424, the fact someday you can change the pickups also matters....thanks!!! Waiting for your next videos!

Thanks for your Yamaha videos I am really enjoy them. The Yellow Natural Satin BB235 has better sound than the black colored one. Do you feel the same Igor? It is difference of the lacquer?

It’s depends on each model, you can test 3-4 basses bb234 and they all would be sound a little bit different. If you feel that your bass is lack of any EQ (bass middle treble) you can boost it through the Logic Pro x, or GarageBand and so on, if we talk about home sessions, and if it’s a gig - then boost what you need on the cab. I know, that’s not the best advices, but it’s helps

when you play on 434 you get more fun 'cause it feels more comfortable in hands.
