It is an expensive machine. It is not overpriced. It is complex and heavily built and NOT made with third world labor. I have not eliminated my string trimming, but have reduced it to a HUGE degree.

@@rooster3019 one day I will have one ... we built a private road on our farm over the last two years and it has 30 degree up and down slopes. I have actually spent the last two weeks weedeating all of it at a very slow pace.

I had the same issue been wanting it since I was 18 but couldn't get approved. Now I just turned 21 and I have the 3 Years of credit history they asked for. Hopefully I get it. Sent the application today. Use to be 51,000 now I got quoted 91,000 why did I have to be an adult at this time 😂. My dad is like are you nuts you can get a JCB a Asv anything for that much $$ but I have a feeling the ventrac will pay for itself plus more jaja

Snake Madness, no doubt a VENTRAC will set you back a bit, however this is money well spent. I have wasted tens of thousands of dollars in my life. The 4500Z is a home run, in every way, I’d do it all over again. If you have the means, or even close pull the proverbial pin. I wish you ALL the best.

When cutting saplings with the Tough Cut, what do you do to remove the 3 inch stobs that are left behind? Is there another attachment to take those down to ground level when clearing a large area with potentially hundreds of small saplings?

Oh heck yes! Glad to see a video of you putting that Tough Cut to the test on large amounts of thick stuff. I mowed down probably 4 acres of 1"-1-/12" saplings (and larger, but don't tell my rental company).
"Eliminates string trimming" as if a string trimmer would have a snowball's chance.
Love you like a brother, Aaron, but some of the operators in these videos are good bit more adventurous than you.
Now when is a mulcher / heavy flail mower coming out for the Versa-Loader? And a front hoe with a thumb while you're at it?
