Katharine and Mark ~ A Joyful Fall Wedding at the Mansion on Turner Hill

Katharine and Mark met by chance on Tinder when they both dared to swipe right. After chatting for a few weeks, one night, when out on the town with friends, Katharine received a message from Mark asking if she would like to meet up. It was getting late but Katharine took a chance and met Mark at Dillon’s in Boston. When the bar later closed, they walked and talked, making their way through Back Bay and over to the Public Garden. As Katharine remarked,”Not that it's any surprise to anyone who knows us but we couldn't stop talking“. Before they knew it, the sun was coming up, it was 8:30 am, and they had spent the whole nigh talking on what they now call “Their Bench”. A few days later Mark left Boston and the two lost touch only to reconnect two years later. After reuniting the two were long distance for four years then finally moved in together in 2020.
The bride and groom were excited to bring family and friends together for a very fun wedding day and celebrate their union. Much care was taken in the planning to provide guests with a day that expressed how much Katharine and Mark cared about them. For the couple, they most looked forward to the first look and the cutting of the cake! One lovely note, the wedding cake was an exact replica of the brides grandparents wedding cake, such a wonderful and original idea!
Katharine and Mark, thank you sincerely for making us part of your wedding day. It was a pleasure working with you leading up to the day and we were so happy the bride could flex her journalism skills for our cameras when the fire alarm went off during the reception! :)
