The song is about her being ready to get back out there in the spotlight. She was tired of all the secrecy that Joe Alwyn insisted on. When they met she wanted to hide, and then it worked because of Covid. But she was tired of being “put in the basement” and wanted to shine again and man has she!

I am going to echo the same thing, Taylor Swift has easter eggs in this video. This is about Taylor reclaiming her land, Kayne and Kim Kardashian tried to destroy her by saying she lied about a certain lyric, that he said she approved, but when his song "Famous" came out, the line"I made that b!tch famous" Taylor called it out, then Kanye released an edited version of it Kim jumped into by calling Taylor a snake then it escalated and then Taylor started getting hate from a lot of people. Taylor disappeared for a while, about 2 years then Taylor came out with "Reputation" and the first song that she released with a MV was "Look What You Made Me Do" calling them out and in that song she mentioned her kingdom keys they once belonged to me now in this video, she sings she is reclaiming the land. So in the end, she is on the castle balcony looking very pleased.

So I guess this goes to show that her videos are enjoyable even if all the references fly over your head and you don't know who anyone is (Dita Von Teese?! I get not knowing Jack Antonoff or HAIM or Laura Dern, but come on!). It's like watching baby aliens react to her videos, it's very pure and I think it's cool to see your point of view and interpretations that aren't as focused on interpreting all of the meticulous details that she includes.
