- Former President Donald Trump was the target of an apparent assassination attempt Saturday at a Pennsylvania rally, days before he was to accept the Republican nomination for a third time. A barrage of gunfire set off panic, and a bloodied Trump, who said he was shot in the ear, was surrounded by Secret Service and hurried to his SUV as he pumped his fist in a show of defiance.
Trump’s campaign said the presumptive GOP nominee was doing “fine” after the shooting, which he said pierced the upper part of his right ear.

I'm a retired maintenance man and even i have enough common sense to chec rooftops within rifle range of the podium. And by the way outside the perimeter doesn't mean outside of shooting range
The top suspect will be handling the investigation.
I have so many questions. Why was the tip that there was a guy on the roof with a rifle, ignored? Why did he sniper wait for the shooter to shoot first before neutralizing him? How was the shooter able to get on the roof without the SS and LEOs noticing? Why does the NY Post have the ID of the shooter and FBI and SS don't?

So no one is going t5o talk about the response time of the secret service sniper? The shooter was taken out in less than 0.5 milliseconds after taking a shot. Obviously he had to already be targeting the shooter to be able to simply pull the trigger to take him out in such a fast response time. It was an immediate response... how it that possible? It is strange....i work at a hotel and obama came to the city and every building and the highways were shut down all the staff at the hotels were handed papers to read saying DO NOT GO ONTO ROOF TOPS STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS places were locked down everywere. Not just in the building i worked in, but at least every single tall building in the down town area, so very strange they didn't cove the one and only high spot in the area????? Wth

What is interesting is that Trump was an hour late to the stage, so the shooter must have been in place for awhile since this happened right at the top of his speech. Seems like there was some gaps in security at this location.

There were Trump supporters who tried to let the secret service know there was a shooter climb up on the roof. The SS didn't do anything. Maybe they misunderstood them pointing at the roof. I don't know.
