- The Raspberry Pi (despite the Pico) has no pins for analog inputs. Hence we show you how you can read data from analog sensors on your Raspberry Pi.
You will need the MCP3008 analog to digital converter, which you can pick up at our store

thank you for the video, it helped me a lot
With that library can I use more chanels?
why chip select pin of mcp3008 is connected to GND? shouldn't it be connected to GPIO8 (SPI0 CE0) of raspberry pi?
You are right. After testing for hours if found out, that Chip Select of mcp3008 (CS/SHDN) has to be connected to GPIO8 (SPI0 CE0) in Order to Work.
Is it possible to make a metal detector with the Raspberry Pi and read and record the data with the ADC connection?
It should be @voxfox01 - check out this reddit discussion on the topic: www.reddit.com/r/electronics/comments/3yb468/would_it_be_possible_to_diy_a_high_end_metal/
Where is your bypass capacitor ?
Getting an error that no module named buiso
same case!! any solution?
PYTHON! THUMBS DOWN!😜👎👎👎👎
