I was at the park with my wife and 2 yo son yesterday, and I was pushing him on the swing. My wife was taking pics and looked down by my foot, and she noticed a tip of a knife sticking out of the snow. She went down and dug it out and pulled out the Buck 110 auto. I looked at it and thought no way. It looked to be buried in the snow for a few months, I pushed the button, and it flicked out with no issues. I cleaned it up when I got home and it is in perfect condition no rust or damage other than some gouge marks on the tip of the frame, whoever owned it used it to open his beer bottles. Other than that, it is in perfect condition and SUPER sharp. I feel bad for the guy and would love to return it to him, but I have no way of finding out who lost it. So I guess I just came up on a really nice knife. I'll keep it till my son gets old enough to carry a knife and give it to him and tell him the story.
The way to return the knife, the "proper" way to act... Is to paste flyers in the area, give your phone number and ask people to describe what they lost. To just keep it because you don't know how to return it is wrong.
@paulhomsy2751 We did make a post on FB in our area. I also told all the local wholesale that sold knives about what happened and left my number. No one ever contacted me. I'm only going to go so far to return lost property. If the value of it was much higher, I would just take it to police station.
Keep it. It's a gross misdemeanor to own one in WA state@@JohnDoe-zg6fn
@@paulhomsy2751 Post flyers for a $250 pocket knife? That's just stupid.
Old school aesthetics combined with modern auto opening mechanisms. Love it.
They make some great leather quickdraw sheaths for the manual versions as well.
Yes how cool is that .. a classic modernized
👍 Thanks for watching.
Relative modernization. Thanks for watching.
Got mine a week ago. After two days the blade stopped opening in the vertical position. I guess I'll have to see about that Forever Warranty.
Updated 5/27/22.
Just needed to keep firing it. After about three weeks it loosened up just enough. Fires great all the time now.
I am sure that Buck will take care of you via warranty if need be. You might try to clean/lubricate the pivot area.
I know this is late but why do people go straight to warranty over simple things. Oil it and work it, clean, oil again. Manufacturing dust grts trapped in the pivot.
Thats beautiful 😍
The best of both worlds!
👍👍
I really want one for my collection. Thanks for comparing it to the PM2, a modern classic!
👍 Thanks for watching.
This knife just arrived on my doorstep. Its a work of art.
Glad you like it. Thanks for watching.
Spent 18 on my original. And 160 on this one, couldn't help it, it's so badass lol
Times do change but some things will always be classic. Thanks for watching.
Paid $200 for mine 😅
Worth it
They used this knife in Heartbreak ridge, war movie.
Funny as its a collectors knive, not stabbing
was a common knife for us in the military on active duty during that time
I am some what of a Knife collector, I must have this for my collection.
Buck does it again. Have to have it, but hope the sheath comes in brown leather as well
Great presentation.
Thank you for watching!
Got one love it
👍
Italy: We make the best switchblades!
America: Hold my beer.

America is pretty much the best at everything
Freaking beautiful.
Thanks for watching.👍
Right now im trying to decide on the buck 110 auto or the Case bridgeline rosewood. I just cant decide. I can say if the buck had a pocket clip like the Case i would have probably already bought one.
That one is snappy, the one I held at the army navy store was lighter than the classic ones. The deployment was weak and the blade felt empty to me and that made me not want it. I wanted it to be more robust on weight and a heavier deployment.
CQI is variable. Best to check it out or make comments when you place your order if you have operation or f&f specifications.
Had to get one
👍
Still have one of the original Buck knives like this, was actually looking at it last night. Bought it in 1973 while starving in 2nd year of college/1st year of marriage. Had to make payments on it. Seems like it was $20. The auto treatment is cool but how much trouble or expense would it have been to make the button match the brass ends? Yeah, i know, whining, but that detail looks kinda cheap. Will I get one now that I know about it in August 2020? Most likely. Make payments? Might. Just for the continuity. Good vid. L8r.
🤷♀️ Not sure why they didn't use brass but if you are looking for an auto 110 this is it. Thanks for watching.
They used steel because it’s the actual closed lock and needs to be hard and strong to not wear out.
I just got my 110 auto elite wont even snap all the way open apparently there are quality issues on-going with this new knife.
Just got my 110 folding hunter from the Buck website
There is no release button and once opened it wil NOT close
what can I do?? Thanks.
It is a back lock folder. You must disengage the back lock mechanism to close the knife. See the following: czcams.com/video/tmpsEPwgPPE/video.html
Great knife, great price I'm a simple man. I would however do a mirror polish on the brass but that is just personal preference
👍 Little metal polish goes a long way.
@@Gpknives . The stock finnish has to be some of the best though, such a beautiful knife I have to get one asap
I carry mine in my front pocket all the time
Do they also have one that's like an inch shorter, so it becomes legal in Germany?
No. The smaller Buck 112 has a 3" blade.
Damn..i have the OG USA made 110..thats nuce though
This is also Made in the USA. Just an automatic version of the classic Thanks for watching.
I so badly want one.

same but auto are illegal where im stuck at :(
I want this so bad. But I don't think I can get myself to spend $200-$250 on a knife lol
I only have the keratin handle
is it legal to buy for inside home only collection in California?
Check Knife Rights or Knife Up for laws in your area. Always good to double-check with local LE as well. Thanks for watching.
No. Commifornia allows under 2” max blade on an automatic knife. Not going to stop me though. Getting one sent to my son in AZ.
Why can’t they just put a pocket clip option on these? It would be a no brainer.
Because they’re so heavy, they’re not meant to be carried In pockets. Also a clip option would destroy their classy and timeless look
Because its not a slacker's knife. Want a clip, get el crappo.
@@JackGorton1960s i feel and understand your reaction. I’ve carried a ranger since I’ve been 11 and a 110 for all of high school. I just would like the option of brass and wood with a clip. Just from me. Love buck and no hate. Chill out
I totally agree
@@usernamesta3334where are they supposed to be carried, genuine question
Sold still? Where ?
🤯
👍
Cool but does it have a lock?
Yes, it is a back lock just like the manual. Thanks for watching.
I checked one out in a store after so many flips its becomes slow get a piranha predator it's worth the price for a auto
The Buck 110 Auto is a classic, and speed is not its strong suit. Piranha is a great company that makes a great knife. Thanks for watching!
Would make a great addition to my collection going to start the process
👍
How to purchase it ?
See the link in the description pending availability.
Wow! You sound just like Carl Sagan.
👍
I want in s30v
The have the auto elite in s30v with g10 handle and nickle bolsters
👍 Thanks for watching.
If they had the finger groove handle version of this knife, it would be perfection.
I love them, just can’t spend 200 bucks on a buck
Who converts these to auto? I don't think Buck makes these. Or do they now?
These are produced and come directly from Buck Knives USA.
@@Gpknives Thanks.
..getting one!

Is this legal in Canada
gearjunkie.com/canada-knife-law-prohibited-folding-weapons
No
No lol y’all wack
Lol, nothing fun is legal in Canada
I'll go with the manual. Can't really justify a $140 price increase just because it's an automatic.
Hello
If the had this version not be a lock back, I'd buy it
425HC On the 110.

I wish it was legal in my state.
Write your representative and check out Knife Rights and AKTI for legislation in your state.
*It IS 'Legal' to own it in any State or U.S. Territory...it's 'Illegal' to 'carry it concealed from common view on your person" almost everywhere* *That's why 'Buck' supplies a full, heavy-gauge sheath for it, to be worn on the OUTSIDE of your clothing...most adults know that something stamped into the leather that says "BUCK" on it knows it means there's a folding-knife inside that casing*
Which state?
Illinois says it's ok now if has a FOID card.

You can't own a automatic knife in Minnesota. You can't even have it in your sock drawer.
The courts in Minnesota have ruled on this over and over. The interpretation of the law is that it is illegal to own. You might not think it's right/constitutional/whatever, but it will get taken away from you and you will have a court date.
(As a side note, about 20 years ago I knew a guy that had one arm. He carried a automatic knife. We were sitting in a family restaurant and he was showing it to me when the cops walked in. (I knew the cops, they were regulars). All the cops passed the knife around and played with it. Eventually they gave it back to him. No one said a word about legality. No one cared. Everyone knew he had it because it was easier for him. Granted, the cops in my city are notoriously cool about things. So, it really makes a difference about how you act. If you act like a moron, you will get treated like one. Edit: An automatic knife is a huge novelty in Minnesota. We are all taught from a young age that they are a big no-no. )
@@herranton *I'm not sure what your 'Point' is*
*It's 'Illegal' to carry ANY 'CDW' in any State* *Period*
*An 'automatic pocket-knife' with a blade over over 3-inches is usually considered as 'Deadly' by any rational
adult, and the idea that somehow someone is going to argue successfully in a Court that "It's my 'Right' to carry a deadly concealed knife that takes only an instant to deploy and likely could penetrate flesh from the mere act of opening it if it were against someone" is ALWAYS GOING TO LOSE in a Court*
*The notion that you 'Can't have a 'switchblade in a sock-drawer' in Minnesota in your own home' is something I can't find, and the idea that the State would somehow 'Know' about it is simply a bizarre fantasy*
I went to Bucks website to price this knife. It's $200.00 dollars which is a little on the high side for me, after all, it is just a knife even if it is a Buck.
So I'm thinking about buying it anyway and I see in the ordering information that the company states that you must have a service pro account to order this knife.
Okay, so what is a service pro account?
According to the company only people that are:
Active Duty United States Military
Active United States Law Enforcement: Federal, State, Local
Fire (full-time)
EMS (full-time)
Can have a service pro account. Only they can buy this knife from Buck.
Other sites carry the knife also and don't care about service so you can buy one there.
But I read on knife sites that Buck has a lifetime warranty on their knives. Send it back, it's repaired for free.
But send this knife back to be repaired and you can't prove you're one of the four types above? Buck will keep your knife.
Does anyone know if this is all true? Why is Buck doing this?
What's wrong with the general public owning this knife?
It is an Automatic knife and the above stipulations are required to be in compliance with Federal Law.
GPKNIVES
But this knife is perfectly legal here in AZ. Why can't I get it shipped to a FFL dealer?
@@williamtownsend3279 FFL=Federal Firearms License. This is a knife, not a firearm. FFL has nothing to do with knives.
So basically if you want the
Buck 110 Auto
you will pay about $140.00 more than you will pay for the non- auto version.
Outrageous!!!
🤷♂
I feel ya, these are lifetime knives tho and bucks are tougher than nails
So true. Unless the quality is heightened there really is no justifying that amount of price increase. I could understand 40 to $50 more, but not that much.
150$ damn
