This could be a show, I'd watch it.
They did have a show like this. Different designers designs different rooms and different house.
@@alexanderperez2732 what's it called?
@@thegooddinggleberry there's so many depends where you're watching. Netflix has interior design masters. HGTV has so many but the first one was design star. Pluto tv has the great interior design challenge and prime has Top design. Apple tv has design wars. Theres to many to name lol
It is a show and we are watching it, though.
Me too
I think Darren makes the space artistic, Noz makes it fun, and Joy makes it homey.
You summed it up perfectly, while I was wordy. I would live in Joys, sell Darren's and party in Noz."
@@gaslitworldf.melissab2897 Agree with Ayushmaan's comment and this one--spot on.
Darren Jet = Amazing
Agreed. I like Darren’s design best.
joy makes it homey, darren and noz makes it hotely
Darren's always hit so hard if I ever walked into one of his spaces id probably talk about it for the rest of my life
I like the idea of the mirrored wall Darren made. It makes the space feel twice as large.
ikr. its like an art form because it really hits you with emotion. SUCH a strong mood just looking at it. moody, cozy, sexy vibes
@@shanekeenaNYC honestly, i had my attention elsewhere while he was putting in the mirror and when i turned back i was very confused for a while about why he suddenly had so much space LOL
Same, but he doesn’t seem like interior designing for actual houses is his thing. 😂
@@shanekeenaNYC i feel like of his designs are like either a) hospital waiting room b) a villain from The Incredibles' lair or c) a claustrophobic mess that would kill someone who was tripping on acid
I’d love to see a spin off of this series but with different budgets, low to high
great idea!
Different budgets and different designers
Watch MrKate
Like Iron Chef for Interior Designers!
me too! 250k in light fixtures alone in noz's design is definitely a lot...
Darren Jett makes art out of making homes livable. Everything he designs throws out all my expectations of what the inside of a home should be. 😭☺
he's my favourite by far. incredible conceptual vision. it is very much liveable art. fun, fantasy, functional.
in every episode of this, his has been my favorite
Joy’s work is the only one that actually looks residential which makes sense. When she talks about her process, she’s the only who actually pictures a human living in there and designs around that person. But at the same time- I don’t care, I love all three designs and Noz’s my fave- the only “hotel lobby” I would ever consider moving into haha
Yes! Thank you for saying this!
Seriously! She's the only one who realized that the person living here might actually have possessions
Right! I'm obsessed with Darren's work but it feels more like a walk-through museum or thought experience. I can't picture actually living in it but I also acknowledge that he's not designing for just anyone.
Noz literally made an upscale restaurant/lounge. 😂 A single person in a loft doesn't need seating for 30 lol
Exactly!!! I can't imagine living day after day in the other two homes. Joy for sure seems like a home o could actually live in, rather than a novelty Airbnb or something
I love how respectful they are with eachother. Such very very different tastes, but they always find ways to be supportive and thoughtful with their comments.
I love each of them differently. Joy always thinks of functionality and actually living in the space. So comfy and homey. Noz also thinks a little about functionality but her designs tend to feel like a temporary privilege, like a fun AirBnB that you want to visit. Darren’s never feels liveable but easily enjoyable in a moment. Like this design felt like an amazing Michelin starred restaurant. I want to be there for a tasting! 😂
Exactly! I would never live in one of Darren’s spaces, but they’re like an expensive hotel that I’d want to stay in so I could pretend I’m fabulous for a weekend.
Darren’s design choices (esp the lighting) were jaw dropping. I love spaces like that but my first thought when I see them is there are no storage spaces. I could never, I need places to hide my things. 😅
I gasped when Darren added the lighting it added such a beautiful transformation! I'd love to have Joy design my apartment for me she makes such dream living spaces! Noz really inspired me with her seating and art choices to get creative!
Little bit of Joy appreciation time! Her spaces are always unique while being specifically attainable; from the textiles to the furniture and the fact that she often retains the structure of the space is so important to me. I’d pin Noz and Darren on “Dream House” boards but Joy shows me how I can make my home upscale with pieces I already have or could easily find on a budget.
YES to this comment!!!
well that's the whole point of the show when they say at the beginning no client no budget they are designing a dream room/ home. I am sure Darren and Noz once they have a client will be more particle and stick to the budget and particle needs.
I love that these guys don't compete but really appreciate each other's work. Amazing!
You know what would be interesting? To see these designers collaborate on ONE project. Their styles really contrast each other, so I wonder if they would be able to incorporate their individual flairs harmoniously in a single space. PLEASE, AD!
darren's design looks like a five-star hotel lounge area with the seating, the plants, and the lighting... it's not my usual cup of tea but i would absolutely love to experience that space
Absolutely love that all three of them chose to keep the tin ceiling and the brick wall. It's quite moving that such drastically different designs share the same respect for the nature of the space. One of my favorite episodes so far.
I really hope that this turn into a show (like a weekly one that I'd watch every week-end)
Noz and Darren’s designs show
what you could do if you could afford to throw it all out and start over in a year when it grew tiring on you. Joy’s is designed to evolve with the person who lives there and wants to invest in quality pieces that will stand the test of time. I like seeing them all together and I like how they all seem genuinely delighted with each other’s work. This group works perfectly together.
3 creative professionals doing their thing and vibing. What's not to love?!
😂😂😂
I love Darren's design. Its very classy and elegant but relaxing as well. I could totally see myself entertaining family and friends in this space!!
I could not see anyone living in that space… no storage or homey elements. It looks like a nightclub
Classy? Did we see the same show
Dan and Noz's both looks like very expensive 5 star restaurants. Joy's is something more achievable and i can see myself recreating. However, if money was no object to me, i'd definitely live in Dan's design. It's such a vibe. Imagine playing music, with wine, just chilling. ugh!
Being a moroccan, i'm always delighted whenever one of your designers tries to implement any aspect of our culture in their designs
I would really like to see how these Designers live! A home tour from each if them
Darren is ridiculously talented. That's some serious creative engineering right there. Wow
I just went on a binge spree watching these. There’s only a handful. I NEED MORE! The biggest thing I’ve learned is that these designers are on a whole other league from model home designers. I’d love to see what they can do with a new-build home, from like say Toll Brothers, and just have at it.
Welcome back to another episode of me being obsessed with everything Darren does.
Joy's is the most livable....Darren and Noz designed hotel lobbies.
Frr
Totally! Hotel lobbies or restaurants.
Agree. They are impressive - but for commercial spaces.
Not true at all. Its the lifestyle of each person. Modern luxury homes have that clean look of darrens work. Just because joys work resembles your current home, doesn't mean everyone else live in a home like that for you to say "its the most livable".
I love this type of video!
My favorite was the 70s mirrored loft. My mother worked for a glass company growing up and we had a mirrored wall. It is absolutely amazing how much it expands the space. Particularly in a smaller space like a loft or studio. Excellent work. Although not a fan of the specific decorative choices, but those are the easiest change to taste.
More episodes please!
We’ve always had big mirrors in my house, in the living room, the vanity room, and also in my room. I do really love mirrors, they make a space bigger
the mirror one is the most over the top in my eyes. cant even explain the feeling. as soon as they added the ceiling, i was in awe. it is the place a billionaire might have a giant orgy.
Joy's felt like a home. The other two more like a high end restaurant or hotel and just feel like I could play out a lot of scenes. Love them all!! Wish Joy didn't cut the room so much, I feel she could've had more fun with the L shape. I want to watch this show though
Yes! I also got restaurant especially from Noz’s design. That was my initial thought.
My biggest wish is to make architects and interior designers live in those spaces they create. Forever.
Joy was the best - very relaxing and comfortable!!!
Hello silence dear friend
I hope you are fine . I guess you are interested in architecture and villa design. If you are interested in these topics
I'm glad you visit my channel
Our team uploads new videos every day, I am sure you will like them
I love that it’s not a competition it’s just an artistic exercise to see how different perspectives approach the same creative challenge. Great series!
Noz's was giving cute coffee shop vibes. Too much seating for a home. Super cute though. Love how darren always turns the space into a work of art. Don't know many people who live in spaces like his but they're cool as can be! Joy's spaces always reflect real people and are attainable by anyone! Love that she thinks about the person when she designs.
I honestly love Darren's designs. They're so bold yet so familiar. And I always love how he plays with light and textures like the carpets, leather, mirrors it's just amazing.
Hands down, Joy's design is everything a loft should be. It's warm, inviting, quietly subdued, transcendently sophisticated, and timelessly elegant. I know because as an artist, I live in a loft (which I myself curated and styled) with the same design aesthetic and artistic sensibility. Immediately upon looking at her portfolio, any potential client could readily envision themselves living in such an alluringly beautiful and maturely refined domicile. As for the others, they both look like quirky and pretentiously contrived hotel lobbies. Well done again, Joy. YES!!! 100/100
this is my fav series on the entire internet right now, I could watch them every day
That dude got it on lock.
Love Darren Jett’s Wild and beautiful concepts of what a room could be😍
I love how their fashion styles show so much about who they all are
These guys are fun . . . and wonderfully creative. The banter on the end is amazing, too. When they get on a vibe together, it's like - Chef's kiss.
This episode it was a tie for me. I love all three.
I love the way Noz interpreted the Moroccan vibe. I love her window treatments and the built in seating.
Darren also did built in seating and created such a sophisticated retro vision with the built in plants, and free standing fireplace. I think his sculptural art piece on the wall made the vision majestic. When he added that, I sat up and took notice.
I love Joy's more conventional take, too. Her room I layered and has different spaces but it's not busy. You see each later and can enjoy them all.
I think for me Joy's design is the most livable and comfortable. But wow, the other 2 designs are very creative. The gold room is very interesting. It's moody and sophisticated. These are talented designers.
Darren just does it for me every time
I am absolutely obsessed with Darren Jett’s style
Same, he should come back
I do not know if I'm just me but after seeing these videos with Noz, Joy and Darren, i always makes me want to do some madness in the decoration ... "Hum, yes, I'll fill the ceiling of the living room with paintings"
Darren understood the assignment. I felt the one space looked more restaurantish, and the other one just looked like a living room. Darren's actually looked like a real loft.
After Darren added his light fixtures, it really tied in the room and make it make sense for me. I love Noz's design, it's fun, and the color ties in well together. But I think Joy's is the closest to what I think I would do, and is the one that I would actually see myself live in. Darren's look more like a high end restaurant or bar to me, and Noz's look more like a very cool waiting area to a cool studio or some other business. But one thing I love about all three is that they didn't change the brick wall and the ceiling.
Darren’s design is out of this world fantastic. Love the sunken dinner table.
Literally obsessed with all Darren’s designs. So happy I decided to click on this series.
Where do you usually see his work? I'm curious where posters are going to view it.
TY
He's a talent
i like Darrens' vision and he has such a cool sense of style
I definitely like the male designer results on the final design. His space looks elegant yet comfortable & has lots of exotic flare added to the beautiful design! 💝
This is my absolute favorite serious on CZcams please keep producing them ✨🙌🏻🎉
Nothing brings me more joy than this series and watching these three amazing talents let their brilliance go wild. I NEED MORE
His designs are so far above what the other two ladies have. Their designs are every day people. His designs are spectacular wow upscale I would choose him to be my designer in a heartbeat
Joy Moyler @ 15:00 nails it with her assessment of Darren Jett's design. I really, really like these three disparate yet all very talented designers, especially when they interact.
I watched all three videos for these three designers, and I preferred one room from each designer out of all the videos 😍 that’s insane to me and so cool!!
what was your fave from each?
Best series on this channel😌
I love Darren's!! Very well designed and his choice of neutral tones and what he did with the mirrored wall ..the planters with lights on them ugggg love love love!
All talented obviously but here's my critique: Darren's and Noz's -- would be great hotel lobbies. Noz's space had too much of the same seating to be a home. Liked the warmth of her space, beginning to see her uplifting energy in her environments. Joy suffocated the space with the screens and central furniture -- imagine just one screen off the brick wall allowing for some breathing room, not to mention getting through to the space by the windows! Joy's room is again the safest but you could also say it somehow suits the loft space more than the other two who masked its character.
Agree with you on the last part. I love that joy didn't change the lofts character, but just touched it up.
Yes!! 100% hotel lobby
Plus, putting the chaises in the wider area in Joy's seems like such a waste of space. Also, I'm not sure what people would even do in them, there's no table or anything near them so it would be inconvenient to sit and read with a beverage, and they're not facing each other so they're not there for conversation. It's an awkward set-up to have the busiest, comfiest area in the middle, placed away from the light of the windows, and awkwardly cut off with the screens.
For Darren's, I'm not sure if he picked up on it, but he also cut out the lofted bed along with the closet so that's a significant decrease in function
Darren blows me away every time. He's completely fearless with his designs.
Darren's design is the one I prefer here. It is wonderful, warm, and is art. The others are nice as well, and Noz's is very interesting with the theme and design.
New designers for the next one 🥰🥰
Visually I gotta give it to Darren. Just oh wow. Id personally like to see more color but the mirrored space is so clever. The sink in dining/sitting area is such an awesome addition. I’ve been wanting something like that forever. I don’t love the plants or the built in much, it makes me think of a lobby a little too much. The ceiling is so unique and unusual. The space just feel kind of cold for some reason. I love Noz’s space and choice of built in more but I dislike the color so much and that pattern on the sitting cushions just bugs me. It’s too yellow, too mustardy and I don’t care too much for art piece. The table is awesome and everything just feels so comfortable. Joy’s space is very practical as usual. It’s beautiful and I think I’ll appreciate it living in it because it’s functional and filled with elements that are classic and thought out. It seems very relaxing and mature just not that exciting. Gotta love that the two younger designers for their boundless creativity
Darren, Noz, and Joy are my favorite trio together.
I always love how three of them are different, individual, but able to appreciate other people's work. Radiates healthy self-confidence - they can appreciate, but they don't need to prove their own talent to anybody. wholesome. As many people have said, I'd watch them in a show ♥
This is such a successful and enjoyable series.
Darren wins this easy for me, I love the 70’s/80’s vibe to it and adding that mirrored wall makes the space looks far bigger which is great.
I feel like none of them really considered how someone would live here, the plans already had a kitchen and bedroom area which wasn't included in the design but why would someone in NewYork where space is so limited want what is essentially a single huge couch that runs the length of the entire apartment?
Be more realistic in where you are going to eat breakfast, where would you put your TV and things along those lines, are you really gona eat breakfast at a table thats sunken into the ground? feels more like a hotel space than a living room
I mean, to be fair: they had the ability to go wild.
@@brandoniswhoiam yeh but they didn’t make a space that you could live in, they made a hotel lobby
@@no9scrum joys seemed liveable.
Darren's is STUNNING! I would never leave that room.
absolutely love everyone's designs. a huge shoutout to darren's -- it's so beautiful!!
Really enjoyed the brainstorming of concepts from three different designers for the same space
I love the dynamics between these three. I could watch them talk and design for hours!
Every time these three design the same space, one of them always makes me gasp - with the kitchens, Joy adding that red oven/stove (even though you couldn't see it in the final rendering) was so inspired; Noz's colour blocked windows in the high end loft after having everything monochromatic was just *chef's kiss* - and here Darren's lighting/ceiling panels blew my mind. 💖
I love the different design languages they each bring to the table.
Two of these designers have created a restaurant/lounge, not an apartment! Noz's design is colourful, Darren's is almost retro in feel. Neither is a living space for me. Joy is the only one to at least attempt to make living spaces. None of these would get my vote as a dream studio apartment, although there are elements of each that I like.
Darren's looks like a hotel lobby, and I don't understand Noz's design, I hate her windows, they look too fake. Joy's one looks like more like a home.
I did not like Noz's design.
Anyone could do Joy's design. I don't see why anyone would pay money for that. No hate.
@@clarasalinassanchez3705 She actually narrowed the windows; the light 😑 why.....!
I have to say my favorite room was the more traditional one with the screens. The only thing I would change would be to remove the chaises (sp?) and put in a big dining table. The room with the mirror that enhances the windows was beautiful but felt more like a hotel lobby. The final room was not appealing to me because it was basically filled with a huge sofa and didn’t make sense.
i love how vastly different they all are. reminds me how design is subjective and how that is beautiful
They are the holy trinity of chaos
I love how Joy is able to combine more common pieces into an elevated combination that are alluring, charming, and very comfortable, yet always interesting.
If I'm designing g a home I would want Joy to do it, if a doing a club or lounge, then Darren's the one for it, but a studio, restaurant, library, lobby, or office, then Noz would do amazing there.
Darren is that guy, he never disappoints, the tinted mirror makes the loft look bigger and it slightly darken the ceiling shades in the reflection, this is giving private indoor pool vibes without the pool, love the plants reflection on the sunken dinning room table no center piece needed, just beautiful 😍 however he did take out the loft bed and walk in closet to make the vision happen, love the differences in all designs just amazing the vision they have
FINALLY I’ve been watching the old ones over and over again
I would love to see Joy's layout from above cos from that angle that image looks like the walking space in the living room is blocked by the furniture. I LOVED her furniture pick such a great mood
I love this idea with one space and three different designs! I love Noznozawa’s personal style. Her jewelry is just WOW!
Joy Moyler forever the GOAT
I love how nice they are to each other. What wee gems
I need to watch more of these. Its refreshing to see designs with more character and color.
these three are my favorite combo. they are very obviously designing for their casting, but the contrast is perfect
I definitely prefer Darren's design.
The luminous planters just behind the sofa seating platform that extends around the edge of the large open plan room. Wow!
Darren's is just seriously stunning. I love the vintage influences and the moody lighting. Honestly it's giving homey cozy jungle version of american patrick batemans house lol
Love the differences of the same space, very dramatic this time . Darren won it for me but liked Noz room lights for somewhere in my home
Darren was the best!
Love how all 3 are so positive and communicative
Just cast this trio in their own show they have the most chemistry and I love how they give love and comment on each other's render. Ther personalities just meld
oh, I would love to take elements of all the projects. they're so talented and I'm aways surprised! please keep going with this videos 😍😍
these 3 are my favorite designers on this series please do more 🙏😭
Right??? I miss them so much...I miss Darren's crazy visions
@@alexdelaloire8739 darren is my favorite !
These three are my favorite to watch together, always such unique results!
How have I missed this series?! Awesome. Darren's use of lighting and the mirror is gorgeous. Idk why so many designers only use seating that noone wants to sit on though lol make it comfy yall. Joys is the only one that really feels like a home but I appreciate all the art
This needs to be a show😊
The younger girl just designed a hipster coffee shop
I saw it as a Moroccan restaurant
so many north african homes look like that tbh, less artistic tables and other chocies, sure, but the rest is fairly spot on, lights on chains, too much seating, tiled flooring, bright colours. it looks a lot like my grans house. if you havent lived in a north african house it might be hard to see it as a home but trust and believe it is cosy.
Please keep doing these!
Noz: I’m obsessed with the chain link light fixture, the woven wall piece, and THE FLOORS omg I love. The wall color is not my cup of tea at all, I think it looks like vomit. I don’t really like that she just has one massive couch for seating, I prefer a variety of colors and textures when it comes to fabric elements. Also, all those coffee tables in a cluster just look so cluttered.
Darren: again with the dark and moody and I’m not mad at it one bit! The mirrored wall makes the space look absolutely massive but the deep earth tones and the stone fireplace make fore a cozy, home-y vibe. The whole space is very mid century modern which, albeit kinda overdone, there’s a reason it’s so popular. Who doesn’t love a sunken living room? The one thing I really don’t like is those square lighting fixtures all over the ceiling. I couldn’t tell you why, they just aren’t aesthetically appealing to me.
Joyce: okay this one is my favorite! I love the diverse seating. Normally I would never keep the walls white, but with all the color in the furniture I think white walls are impeccable (as long as there’s artwork). The one thing I would change is just the layout. I would rather have one big conversation space than two separate divisions, but at the same time I do love those room dividers. I’m torn!
Loving this series. Thank you AD for giving us this kind of content. I love this trio so much. They gives us different opinions and perspective in interior designing. I really enjoyed it!
I've been waiting for this!!!! Love these three so much!
