Dear Giannis xronia polla. My door lock power button next to the power windows buttons is only unlocking all doors, but locking does not work (driver side). Model of the car is yaris with 1nrfe engine 2014. Any sugestions are really welcome. Σου ευχομαι υγεια και οτι εσυ επιθυμεις για το νεο χρονο

A problem with one lock is probably due to the lock actuator or another malfunction inside the mechanism of the door itself. But if none of the power locks work, check the fuse box in your vehicle. A blown fuse can cause the power locks to stop working.
I did what you said and the key fob and in-car parts work but the actual physical key in door no longer locks or unlocks the door(s). Can anyone help on this?
Dude you must have made a mistake when you connected the 2 cables of the door inside handle assembly. The green cable connects to the top of the door handle and the black cable to the bottom as shown in the video at 17:10
@@YiannisPagonis Hi: thanks for responding/help. I've taken the door apart twice. The key FOB buttons open and close the locks perfectly. The in-door buttons make the locks work also. It's clearly as you/me see it-something with the lock and Actuator marrying up. I've tried a dozen times. I have trouble getting the lock to go back into the door; to get it flush. Nightmare to get the thing screwed in: I have to put the key in the lock and wiggle-waggle it-then, the lock seems to be flush in the door and I can screw it in. Once in, the key turns in the lock, but the lock is not turning the Actuator. Now what? Any ideas? These are the clues I have. Thanks!
@@ep1763 Hello and have a nice day (or night). Well my friend you must have made some mistake in the whole installation. So check that the door lock open rod is properly in place (as in 13:27) but also in general thoroughly check that all the parts are correctly installed by you. So watch the video carefully and follow it to the letter.
I think the problem is between the plastic receiver of the Actuator and the lock. Possibly defective part. I will check it out tomorrow@@YiannisPagonis
