Longchamp, Lancel and the Hermes I own say made in France, but the Dior, and LV are made somewhere else and it upsets me because they were so expensive and wish they were made in France. I understand Dolce and Gabbana and Il Bisonte, Italian brands being made in Italy but now I purchased 1a Classe and its made in Bulgaria. Sorry this was a total rant. Thank you for the video

The only nice part was a very beautiful gold buckle. So I sent them pictures and returned the bag. My opinion they have to either stick to the horse products or work with their design team and QC. And today I received a promo code from Basile and ordered🤭myself a New year present - another bag Le Sac Auguste in Dore color. To me it is gorgeous and roomy for everyday. The code is for 48 hours on their site. My first their bag Dianna is very well made and I am very happy so far . 😊❤

I’ve loved Longchamp for over 20+ years and have only recently gotten back into “collecting” - this is an expensive hobby 😹😹 when my other love is Dolce&Gabbana. For 5+ years I’ve been eyeing the Polene bags because of the leather quality and unique designs, I just ordered the number 1 and 9. More than cost, I just don’t have space 😂

Another point: APC is known but the brand is similar to Sezane, Ateliers Auguste for the style of bags, the price is slightly higher, so i wanted to avoid showing something similar and more expensive. Same for Sabrina which is similar for the style and price as Lancaster, Nat et Nin .... I do hope you will pardon me but i really wanted this video to be clear as possible and not to boring 😉😘

HI 😘💖 oh thank you so much for your kind words😘💖 Well I know Lancel well, since i got several bags from the brand (have a look at my video about my Lancel bags collection if you want.) (in fact I used to collect Lancel and Longchamp in the past) So yes, if you got the opportunity during your trip in France (thank you so much for visiting us 💖💖) have a look at their bags, the quality is there. I just have a remark Lancel bags tend to be a little more heavier than the Longchamp ones, for information. Congrats for your Elleme bags, i have none, but the style of their collection is nice as well as Louvreuse. Really cute also, unfortunatly i have none. However, at the moment i never read any bad comments about these brands. Have a nice trip in France and if you have more questions, please do not hesitate 😘😘
Hermès n'est pas une maison de luxe mais une maison de savoir-faire. Le luxe = créativité et glamour, deux choses qui manquent à Hermès. Faut pas oublier que pendant très longtemps, Hermès était uniquement une maison reliée au monde équestre. Les modèles de sacs sont à la limite du masculin, très classiques, et n'ont franchement rien de tendance... Pour moi c'est pas du luxe. Ils existent médiatiquement grâce à une vieille réputation et grâce à quelques influenceuses et personnalités stupides, via le Kelly et le Birkin que l'on voit en masse ; en dehors de ça c'est "circulez y a rien à voir". Je crois que même Longchamp est + créatif que Hermès... Bref, Hermès ne m'évoque en aucun cas le luxe mais plutôt une image très vieillotte, très vieille France (femmes de hauts fonctionnaires, de militaires hauts gradés, etc.), tout sauf le monde du luxe, de la féminité, de la mode, etc. Même les hommes portent des Birkin.

@@bagspassionate Moi j'aimais Longchamp à l'époque de ses colaborations avec des tops models, style Kate Moos. Je trouve qu'à cette époque on se rapprochait vraiment du luxe. D'ailleurs, il suffit de regarder les prix : certains sacs à main (et je ne parle pas des sacs de voyage, mais juste de sacs à main) faisaient 990 euros en 2010. Tandis qu'aujourd'hui le sac le + cher de Longchamp est à 950 euros. Donc, y a eu un nouveau positionnement entre temps ? Car les prix de la maroquinerie ayant explosés ces dernières années, les sacs devraient au contraire être beaucoup beaucoup + chers.
@@bagspassionate Mon premier joli sac, c'est un sac Longchamp que l'on m'a offert y a plus de 10 ans, qui a une énorme valeur sentimentale, et que je porte toujours. Mais j'ai l'impression que la marque est redevenue très classique...

Cependant, permets moi juste de préciser un petit point concernant le prix des sacs qui sont concernés par de telles collaborations que l'on va qualifier de prestigieuses (Kate Moss et autres ...) il ne faut pas oublier que Longchamp inclut dans leur prix, ce qu'il paie également à l'artiste / top model etc.. qui collabore avec , c'est pour cela aussi que les sacs sont plus chers. Longchamp a beaucoup augmenté ses prix avec le temps, je peux te le confirmer, je le vois avec ma propre collection certains sacs de type quasi-similaire en terme de cuir / technicité ont quasiment doublé , voir triplé en 15 ans.

Je n'ai malheureusement pas pu citer toutes les marques, certaines marques étant similaires de par leur style et le prix, j'ai voulu éviter une sorte de doublon. Maintenant, tu as absolument raison, leurs sacs sont très jolis 😍 😘

Sezane is a nice brand too, I fall in love while i was making this video, i know the brand by its name, however i still have no bag from them but i have to say they have my attention now! 😘
@@bagspassionate I am waiting for the next sale to snatch up the Roseau in M in this light blue of this season. Looks beautiful an I hope the leather stands the weather here in northern Germany. From Sezane I am eyeing the Milo in Jaquard and the Romeo (which is probably too small for me). Also interestested in Fleuron Magnolia and Swann.

HI 😘💖 oh thank you so much for your kind words😘💖 Well I know Lancel well, since i got several bags from the brand (have a look at my video about my Lancel bags collection if you want.) (in fact I used to collect Lancel and Longchamp in the past) So yes, if you got the opportunity during your trip in France (thank you so much for visiting us 💖💖) have a look at their bags, the quality is there. I just have a remark Lancel bags tend to be a little more heavier than the Longchamp ones, for information. Congrats for your Elleme bags, i have none, but the style of their collection is nice as well as Louvreuse. Really cute also, unfortunatly i have none. However, at the moment i never read any bad comments about these brands. Have a nice trip in France and if you have more questions, please do not hesitate 😘😘

Hermès n'est pas une maison de luxe mais une maison de savoir-faire. Le luxe = créativité et glamour, deux choses qui manquent à Hermès. Faut pas oublier que pendant très longtemps, Hermès était uniquement une maison reliée au monde équestre. Les modèles de sacs sont à la limite du masculin, très classiques, et n'ont franchement rien de tendance... Pour moi c'est pas du luxe. Ils existent médiatiquement grâce à une vieille réputation et grâce à quelques influenceuses et personnalités stupides, via le Kelly et le Birkin que l'on voit en masse ; en dehors de ça c'est "circulez y a rien à voir". Je crois que même Longchamp est + créatif que Hermès... Bref, Hermès ne m'évoque en aucun cas le luxe mais plutôt une image très vieillotte, très vieille France (femmes de hauts fonctionnaires, de militaires hauts gradés, etc.), tout sauf le monde du luxe, de la féminité, de la mode, etc. Même les hommes portent des Birkin.

Concernant le reste c'est plus ton point de vue stylistique et je le respecte tout à fait! Heureusement que nous aimons tous des choses différentes. Hermès fait également des produits en soie, de la bijouterie , des articles pour la maison, quel est ton avis là dessus? Apprécies tu Longchamp? @@bagspassionate Moi j'aimais Longchamp à l'époque de ses colaborations avec des tops models, style Kate Moos. Je trouve qu'à cette époque on se rapprochait vraiment du luxe. D'ailleurs, il suffit de regarder les prix : certains sacs à main (et je ne parle pas des sacs de voyage, mais juste de sacs à main) faisaient 990 euros en 2010. Tandis qu'aujourd'hui le sac le + cher de Longchamp est à 950 euros. Donc, y a eu un nouveau positionnement entre temps ? Car les prix de la maroquinerie ayant explosés ces dernières années, les sacs devraient au contraire être beaucoup beaucoup + chers.
@@bagspassionate Mon premier joli sac, c'est un sac Longchamp que l'on m'a offert y a plus de 10 ans, qui a une énorme valeur sentimentale, et que je porte toujours. Mais j'ai l'impression que la marque est redevenue très classique...
@@bagspassionate 990 euros le sac en main en 2010, on est vraiment sur les même prix des sacs Louis Vuitton de la même année, quand même... Et même chez Louis Vuitton, on trouvait des sacs aux alentours des 700 euros en 2010.

Cependant, permets moi juste de préciser un petit point concernant le prix des sacs qui sont concernés par de telles collaborations que l'on va qualifier de prestigieuses (Kate Moss et autres ...) il ne faut pas oublier que Longchamp inclut dans leur prix, ce qu'il paie également à l'artiste / top model etc.. qui collabore avec , c'est pour cela aussi que les sacs sont plus chers. Longchamp a beaucoup augmenté ses prix avec le temps, je peux te le confirmer, je le vois avec ma propre collection certains sacs de type quasi-similaire en terme de cuir / technicité ont quasiment doublé , voir triplé en 15 ans.
