🇬🇧Mercedes Sprinter Won't Start or Cut out, How to Repair

This a really common fault on the Mercedes Sprinter.
Symptoms appear to be something serious, or out of fuel.
in less than a minute the van is fixed. I hope this helps someone and puts you back on the road.

Thankyou ,something to keep my eye on in the future as quite regular having a clumsy labourer in my passenger seat .Infact he knocked the bloody ECU out the brackets last week but plugs all ok .I didn't moan at him though because he got down under my truck in the freezing cold and changed the Alternator for me .

Well thankyou for this video, my parents camper conked out garage's gouldnt come out lack of staff and this was the cause 😂saved the old man a callout fee

A faulty park neutral switch was problem in our 2017 Mercedes Sprinter (2018 Pleasure Way). It was never diagnosed correctly by Mercedes dealers until I found the dealership in Rocklin California. They fixed it under warranty and we have never had this problem again.

Sprinter cuts out low idle special turning wheels put in neutral turn key starts right up any ideas?

My sprinter in the morning starts straight away, but once engine warms up the and you want to restart it, it won’t start it’ll give you a very hard time to do so .I thought glow plug issues so I change the glow plugs but still I have the same issue any idea what could be Stopping the engine to restart when engine warms up

Its more likely to be an air ingress issue, ether fuel pump, fuel filter seal, or a chaffed pipe, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

I've got the same symptoms but the wires are in the right position. It will start but only with ether sprayed into the air intake. Sad 😞

You could possibly have Air ingress in your fuel system the rubber seals sometimes perish causing in the same issue Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
