I honestly don't see what people's issue is with youtube red. Its $10 a month and you get ad-free videos, a decent amount of exclusive content, a Google play music subscription, and best of all it massively supports the creators you watch.

I love how at first the paint is so smooth but then it just explodes.
It's insane in full screen, the paint flying at you. 3D without being 3D.
Love the suddenness of the paint hitting them, it's like some sort of colourful giant just sneezed on them!
It's like that episode of Mr Bean when he put a firework in a paint bucket. Even the mythbusters tried to copy the same but failed.
These guys deserve every subscriber they have.

I really want the old Slow Mo Guys back,the ones that were shooting vids in their backyard and were coming up with mad video ideas that were actually really entertaining. I know it sounds stupid btw but the videos were way better back then.

When the paint shooters shooted the paint out, it looked like making a windows logo coming together into one piece, not 4 pieces.
I like that the hosts don't resort to stupid antics to garner a following. The videos speak for themselves, and Gav and Dan have good interaction.

It isn’t terrible. It will definitely sting a little (like they were saying about the face) but mostly only in sensitive areas, plus it is /only/ 90psi. That sounds like a lot, but most of the pressure dissipates due to the spread of the paint. So dont worry! They are fine!

I think the upgrade in production made this show kind of lose its spark. It was so cool to just see these two random guys with a slo-mo camera muck about in their backyard.
I think he has a point. While I am glad they are being able to do this and doing cool things they couldn't do on there own, it would be disappointing if this was what there channel was permenantally. I know it's not, but commenter might not have known

Pretty sure Sony are funding it hence all the Playstations ads at the start. Gav and Dan being coy about it isnt great.
I personally like what they're doing with the added production but disagree with the script writer. It doesn't really capture the true slow mo guys and that was really apparent in this video... hopefully they get to keep 1 or 2 more cameras than they started off with
I never got 1 ad yet from Sony. The ads are probably just tuned to you

This is why you want any grain effects out of videos as well. It may look really nice in the raw footage, but youtube compresses it like crazy and just screws up big time in moments like these
The bitrate is the same as before, its just that there's too much data for the bitrate to encode. Watch at the highest quality setting for the best results, even if your display doesn't have that high of a resolution.

I do not care about everything in "4k" especially on a slow mo channel. Bring back the super low resolution but insane frame rate for things that need it please.
