Chickadees are some of my FAVORITE birds to watch at our bird feeders. What do you think of them??
Awesome it is 🙂
Wow, their casual call is probably THE most recognizable bird call to me, after maybe a Chicken. And I didn't even know it was this bird until just now. Lol.
it's just a natural part of the forest
Now you can put the face with the sound! ❤️
@@AnimalFactFiles Have you ever heard about the Screamer Bird? This Bird looks like a Secretary Bird but more closely related to Ducks. Pls make a video about Screamer.
Sometimes my teacher calls us chickadee but this is just so funny way that the teacher calling us sometime😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤ I love birds like chickadee
Chickadee, I choose you!
these little guys are so adorable. they are one of the few birds still in my neighborhood in the winter
Same here! ❤️
They are adorable!
They are indeed!
We have bird feeders in the front, and they come on a regular basis. I like to sit in the front to watch them and hear their distinctive song. Cute little birds.
My Dad had several black capped chickadees he had trained to eat out of his hand. If the bird feeder got empty they would fly around his head to get him to refill it. Clever little birds whose distinctive calls echoed eerily through the woods in which his home sat.
I've seen a few people do this! Chickadees are quite brave little birds!
They’re so dumb they fly into hail and scream for dear life while crows take shelter under balconies
that is a LOT of locations to remember!?!🤯they sure have better memory than me!😁
My SIL's favorite bird.
Now I know that the Pokémon habit of saying their names is actually a warning call.
Glad you learned something new!
I can only hear the 'deee' in their call. The 'chicka' is a bit harder to hear. I don't think that's what they're saying anyway. 😂
I didn't realize that Woodpeckers ate other birds. That is an interesting fact. I used to hear Chickadees all the time in Va.
Same I don't hear the "chicks" either!
@@AnimalFactFiles Do you know what I think? I think the chick might've come from their size. 'They're as small as chicks!' and the dee bc they say Dee a lot!
@@tracybowling1156 I love this!!
The ones I often hear in the US midwest go, Fee bee fee. I wonder if its a different species then a black capped chickadee, or, if its a song variation.
Thanks for sharing this with us
You are so welcome!
I love the Black-capped Chickadee. Such cute, sweet, charming, intelligent birds.
A group of birds in the same family as Chickadees you should do a video on is Titmice. Funny, energetic, brave, and vocal.
Yes they are! And those are coming up soon!
This is also the state bird of both Maine and Massachusetts.
yeah ! they do ! it's kinda funny .. that other song indicates here it's 4:30- 5am 😊 & nuthatches we have. they are built for scaling trees up or down . thank you ❤️ sweet one 😊
Yes we hear them around that time, too!!
We have lots of chickadees around our area and they're bold, they don't have a problem landing on your shoulder or eating from your hand.
The thing that I always found confounding was that they would come up to our feeder and take a couple of seeds and fly back while other birds would sit there and gorge themselves. Seems like quite a bit of wasted energy but obviously it must work for them.
They are quite bold! And yes! They take those seeds to hide all around their environment. They're seed hoarders and can remember thousands of seed locations. Could you imagine? Never lose your keys again!
Yep, I love em.
Same 😻
Interesting how the DEE DEE sound is a warning. I always thought it was the opposite. When I hear a bunch of them going off, I figured they were happy and full...
I thought the same thing 😭
Make a fact on Cherry shrimp next
Great suggestion! Thank you!
Is so cute:^
Hey thanks so much.
You are most welcome 🥰
I used to live in the Mojave Desert of California and would interact with desert iguanas (Dipsosaurus dorsalis). Can you feature them?
That's an awesome suggestion! Thank you!
Passerines are a very big group of birds.
Thanks Dad !!
Number one fan!
Yup I always say it whenever you remind me .
