Will this be introduced in a firmware update with the wireless go 2?
I really hope so , it would be better than buying a whole new system , when it could just be a software update…
I agree, the only thing that would be better if they somehow added 32 bit float recording.

@@elijahtrulli5509 I’m hoping as you can connect the rode wireless go 2 to this system, they should be able to add it. Hopefully just a software rather than hardware update.
Unless there’s some limitation in programming, I don’t see why they couldn’t.
I headphones both the wireless Cisco and the wireless go to to me. The microphones do not sound good compared to anything but the camera every other microphone on the market, including their own sound much better.
Please bring gain assist to the Wireless II

Is the gain assist a software or hardware limitation? If it's strictly software, then I think you should add it to the Rode Wireless Go II as well.

Hey there @gospyder! No that feature isn't available on the Wireless GO II, but it is available on the Wireless PRO and Wireless ME.

Does gain assist work with external lav mics as well or just in the internal mic?
It works with all compatible mics- not just the onboard one!

Wait, so was this recorded with the wireless me? It sounded like a boom mic.
Of course is a boom mic, that big and bulky wireless mic can’t sound that good
The fact that Rode is not responding to any of the questions asking what it was recorded with leads me to believe they used a different mic to record this audio. Very deceiving practice by Rode.

Great question, the GainAssist is adjusted via each TX (transmitter) using RØDE Central for mobile or desktop

The annoying thing, with other automatic gain systems, is a relatively silent outdoor situation, but wind, and having the gain lock on to the wind and amplify it to super loud.

Is it true that (unlike the Wireless Go II) this doesn’t have the ability to record - it only transmits? If so .. why have Rode taken this great facility away?
Hey there, the Wireless ME is designed to be super easy to use and give you incredible sound out of the box with minimal setup required. It offers some cool unique features too, like Gain Assist and a mic built into the receiver. The Wireless GO II offers more advanced features, like on-board recording, safety channel, flexible control over the output level, and a screen for checking audio levels and other settings. I am so amazed by this product, how simple and very on directly on point this is perfect for any content creator who wants to just have a good quality plug and use mic for every day content creation, I applied to a possible partnership with you guys I hope we can work together it would be an honor.

“Ultra compact”???!!! Sorry but this is the most ugliest wireless microphone on the market right now. Very big, heavy, bulky, that big and ugly logo and tex on the transmitter…
Hey there, if you don’t want the mic in your shot, you can just flip it around so it's facing the inside of your shirt, or you can plug in an external lav and clip it to your belt or wherever you need.
Until dji mic 2 shows even bigger logo....
