    Thanks Jim, I had to replace the old thermostats of my gas gas. And I used some like that red that you show in the video. A greeting from Spain

    just an question, if i untherstand it right does AC comes in the thermostat, and then rectified, and not DC in and directly to the fan ? so do the lights need an extra rectifier ?

      Lights are A/C, fan is D/C. It doesn't matter if t/stat is on A/C before rectifier or after rectifier, it just turns the fan off and on

    Love your videos Jim. What temp range is the thermo switch?

    • @TRIALSPARTSUSA
      @TRIALSPARTSUSA  Před 4 lety +3

      Turns-on at 70°C/158F ~ Turns-off at 60°C/140°F

      @@TRIALSPARTSUSA Hi Jim. Is there a way to just get rid of the thermostat and have the fan running all the time while engine is running?

      @@HoldenPower you can do that... but.... then you have an engine that has no temperature control. It will take a lot longer to come up to proper operating temperature and run cleanly, and it can run too cold for long periods which effects carburetion. I think that ultimately, you will dramatically shorten the life of the fan motor.
