Old trucks really do it for me! My dad had a K100 when I was 5 yrs old...loved it! 🥰 I started driving at 7 yrs ...in an old 51 REO conventional. Thanks to my dad, I’ve loved trucks since then. Got it...got it bad...or good! 🥰 Cabovers rule! I own the REO and a IH 9670 from Walmart. Those old trucks sure have lots of character! 🤩
I drove a 1988 Freightshaker for 8 years. 20,000lb steer axle and 46,000lb Hendrickson suspension. Pulling 139,900lbs on a 'B' train. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Cab-overs RULE! All the conventionals in the world wont compare to one COE. I'm 66 and I would still rather have a cab-over than a conventional any day of the week.
The gold cabover at 2:04 is a multiple award winner at the U.S. Diesel Trucking Nationals at Raceway Park, Englishtown, New Jersey. And yes, it is a working truck.
That's a CBE (Cab Beside Engine) with a suicide sleeper. So nick-named because in every accident involving one of these, the sleeper occupant died (or so the legend goes).

@cj382 it does look better but they must burn fuel like its going out ov fashion when you are pullin a box trailer.and tryin to get into some tight places would be near impossible.
Hi I recently had a problem with my K100 cab jack one of the pistons pushed the cab up unevenly and bent the cab hinge. ARE THE PISTONS BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT OUT THE SAME AMOUNT WHEN THE CABS UP?
I'm going owner operator in the next week and have a very dependable high mileage truck which I hope to replace in a year. I want to find a cabover that's been refurbished and that I could drive for the next 25 years and just rebuild it when need be. Will trucking companies accept these if they're rebuilt to dependable quality ?
Yes the cabover uses the same piston in both sides they go up thee same. You will need to replace both pistons and the bent hinge if you email me at mainelyhorseless@ gmail.com I will give you some information on how to make changing the cab hinge easier us a difficult job.

The only American truck i've seen in the UK was a yellow Kenworth KT2000 wrecker but i've never seen any K100's
