Investigators ruled it as suicide. Family said no way. No history of mental disorders or medication. Family members have argued that the boyfriend needed to be investigated. For example, she was left-handed and the bullet wound was on the right side of her head and at an angle that showed that she couldn't have done it to herself, she had 0 history of mental illness or being suicidal, etc. When her family asked to see her crime scene photos so that they could start an independent investigation, the Department refused to show them (even though they had a right to see the photos). There are more strange details but those are some of the main ones.
Why, we already pay for it. The petition will just be a show of public affection, the investigation would be stonewalled by the same people who served with her. For all this Officer knew she could be talking to someone wanted for crimes against a child. This Officer had NO idea, when she got the call, what this person was about UNTIL she talked to him and ran his info. She did her job!!

So why is that not the case when her bf happens to also be a cop? A profession that is PACKED with men that have undiagnosed and or unaddressed/untreated Rage Disorders, Anger Issues, PTSD, and where it is not an unusual occurrence for a cop to have been arrested on multiple occasions.. possibly even been convicted once or twice. In fact it has become so prevalent for cops to get wrapped up in DV cases that it's now considered an unusual situation or an anomaly for an average sized Police department to have at least a few officers on staff that have DV cases on their records. Cases which were caught AFTER having joined the force mind you!
