    What a fantastic difference you have made to this lovely lady's life. Well done to you. It's so great to have such a rewarding job. Just out of curiosity, do you also do zirconia or ceramic all on 4's? The reason I ask, I live in Turkey and an Irish friend stayed with us while getting similar treatment and choose the option of ceramic if I remember correctly. It's about 4 years ago now and she is very happy thankfully. Though the process was longer for her and she had to come back after 4 months for final teeth which is a drawback compared to your process. 🙂

    so this is an alternative to traditional dentures that you can remove and put in a glass of steredent overnight? but these dentures which also include facsimile gums are held in by four posts that are screwed into the jaw? the difference being that fitting the dentures with posts is more permanent and you don't have to take them out, and they won't fall out while you are eating!!

    • @allon4clinics
      @allon4clinics  Před rokem +3

      Hi there. All On 4 Dental Implants are a permanent alternative to dentures. They implants are placed into the jaw and the bridges ( row of teeth) are screwed in, so you have them for life. You do not need to take them out, you can clean them like regular teeth ( brushing and flossing) aswell as your 6 monthly dental cleans. This procedure if life changing for people that haven't been able to eat because they have no teeth etc... We would encourage you to watch our free online webinar, which explains everything about the treatment, including how it works, the benefits, costs and rebates and more. Does All On 4 prevent bone loss? I am confused because I've heard that if you lose a tooth the best option is to get an implant to prevent bone loss. Is just 4 implant screws enough to preserve the bone? If you get an implant for every tooth instead of all on 4 will the bone be over stimulated?

    • @allon4clinics
      @allon4clinics  Před rokem +2

      Hi Ava, thanks for your enquiry. When a person has missing teeth for a long time, the bone tissue will slowly begin to reabsorb, taking away from the sturdy foundation that your remaining natural teeth require. So when people come to see us and they want All On 4 Plus Dental Implants, we find that they have such poor bone that standard implants will not work. This is why we have created an implant that is used for poor or thinning bone called Zygomatic Implants, you can view more about these implants and how they work here: allon4.com.au/all-on-4/zygomatic-implants.
      All On 4 Dental Implants are preferred by most for a number of reasons:
      - It would cost way more to get an implant for every missing tooth
      - All On 4 Dental Implants ( 4 implants) is enough to hold an entire row of teeth
      If you are interested in learning more about this and how we conduct our treatment, we would recommend registering to our free online webinar, which you can view here: allon4.com.au/events.
      This webinar will explain everything from how the treatment works, costs and rebates, previous patient experiences and if it's the right solution for people ( goes into depth about the difference between standard and zygomatic implants).
      We hope this helps :)

    How is it possible to be able to react to the doctors command without feeling pain? I mean its a big process with drilling into bones and so on... not feeling pain and not beeing able to remeber anything clear from the process but still be able to react to commands like "open" "bite" and so on is not clear to me.

    • @allon4clinics
      @allon4clinics  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Hi there, personal experiences with pain differ from person to person but typically pain is not a common complaint. In fact most patients report that they have not taken the pain medication that we prescribed. Most procedures are done under a general anaesthetic, so you are completely asleep, but we still use a local anaesthetic to completely numb your entire jaw to reduce the chances of post operative pain. It's normal to feel some discomfort while you're recovering, but over-the-counter pain medication is usually enough to keep you comfortable. Of course if you are in a lot of pain, we can prescribe you something stronger. When a patient wakes up from the surgery, we let them recover in our recover room for around 2-3 hours so that they can become fully coherent before we put in the temporary teeth. This way, they are able to respond to commands like "open, "bite" etc.
      In terms of you sending us your scans, we will only have a look at any scans you have if you have booked a consultation. Even then, we might have to do more scans if yours don't meet the requirements of what we need. You can book an initial consultation with us here: www.allon4plus.com.au/all-on-4-plus/consultation. I only went to the dentist once as I can recall before the age of 18. A little after my 18 birthday I ended up getting a tooth every 2 weeks removed from cavities that were just too deep to save. Iam now 29 suffering because I have no back teeth. I eat on my frontals and yesterday my doctor told me I will most likely need to cap my front teeth. Which is $1500 a piece to even think about having my front ones another 10 years. I do my due diligence. I brush. I floss. I have good hygiene. It sucks. Make sure you take your children to the dentist every 6 months!! Because they will be in my position before 30 😢

The cleaning around the 4 posts ( top and bottom) seems a major problem as you can't see your results! In addition to the cleaning your teeth on your own- you can come to your dentist and get the underside of your bridge cleaned 3-6 months, which will ensure that no food/debris is left. However we give you all of the tools and techniques you need to ensure that your gums stay very clean- it's all about taking the time to clean them right.

    All On 4 has ruined my life. I had it done 6 months ago and I have been in constant pain. I have a hard time talking and one plate broke a couple weeks ago. My gums are inflamed and it feels like I have a knife in my gums on the upper front and lower front. I wanted good teeth because my YT channel started to take off and I was ashamed of crooked teeth and having a tooth ache every few months. They only told me the positives and none of the negatives. I can't get my teeth off my mind. I try to film outside and in the heat it feels like my gums are throbbing and the pain just makes me miserable. I also keep getting canker sores. I wish I could have my money back again and live with my crooked cavity teeth.

    i just got implants but the doctor didnt listen when i told him the denture did not fit so instead of making a new one that would line up with my gums now im stuck dealing with real tooth pain because the left side of my implant hangs down so far that i can stick my whole tongue under it. my bottom teeth on the left side keep slamming up aginst the left side where it so crooked and hanging down too far and none of the teeth on the right side touch at all. when i smile i can stick my tongue out the right side where there is a huge gap between where my teeth are supposed to be touching. it feels like i have something sticking out the side of my face but its just the twice copied crooked dentured that has been screwed into my mouth....... really how difficult is it to use that computer program and 3d printer to get the teeth lined up with the patients gums so they dont feel like their teeth are hanging out the side of their mouth.

Not only is this advised to help the healing of the implants but to help get patients used to the new biting force that they have.
      Breakages can occur if patients use their teeth in ways that we advise against, such as biting bottle caps, extremely hard foods that can them result in chipping or breakages. But these are usually uncommon, as people listen to the advice we give them.
      However the most common reason for breakages of because the patients biting force is too strong or they are heavy teeth grinders. In this case we would give the patient anti-clenching injections to see if this helps and if it does not, then the material of the teeth might have to be upgraded to zirconia, which is extremely durable and strong.
      But to answer your questions, breakages from bruxing ( teeth grinding) are relatively common in the first 6 months, but can be resolved with options that we have.

    Why didn’t you have to wait 4 months for the patients gums to heal before putting in the final teeth?

      Hi there, The custom-milled titanium frame connects the implants to each other to work in a group to dissipate functional loads and to protect individual implants during the initial healing process when the implants are most vulnerable, as well as beyond.
      A rigid connection is not only advantageous but an important factor in the healing and success of immediate implants. This is why All-On-4 Plus features Immediate Final Teeth with a rigid titanium frame.

    I never understood why dental indurance pays ,💩 compared to normal medical insurance. That said I had this done friday snd sm waiting gor my teeth monday. Just to be clear and everybody understands, I am in so much pain right now. And my face and gums are still swollen and I don't see how they're going to attach these teeth because the posts are barely sticking out from the swelling in my gums. And once the teeth are on they're going to put pressure on my sore gums and anytime I accidentally bite down. It's going to put pressure on my sore gums and it is just going to hurt so much. Like I'm almost regretting that I had this done because I just see the pain is going to be there for so long. I want everybody to take that into consideration, especially if you're not good tolerating pain. You're going to be suffering for a month and months... All I can say is I hope I look like a movie star in the end.

      Oh and in Massachusetts where I live they wanted 60k to go whole mouth which is rape as far as I'm concerned.. I had to fly to Las Vegas and they were $30k for both which is still crazy but doable with financing. Again not knowing why dental insurance pays for 💩 for any of this

      Hi Julie,
      Personal experience with pain differs from person to person, however pain is not a common complaint. In fact most of our patients report that they have not taken the pain medication that we have prescribed. It's normal to feel some discomfort and swelling ( like you mentioned) as it is a common side effect that usually subsides within a few days post surgery. If you are experiencing extreme pain, you should definitely contact your dentist/surgeon, they might be able to give you some stronger pain medication.
      For some people, they just happen to swell more than others, which is obviously going to cause you to be in more pain. Don't worry too much, the swelling will eventually go down. If it's not down to a level where they are able to put your teeth in by Monday, you may just have to go back at a later day. What you are experiencing is normal, you just happen to have had a worse reaction to it ( which unfortunately is just the case for some people).
      Wishing you all the best with your All On 4 Journey from us here at the All On 4 Clinic in Australia :)

    So the dentist created the problems that she needed to pay out the ass to fix! How dentist of him. My teeth were perfect until I listened to someone and started going for normal checkups. That exact moment was when the problems started and I had to go to the dentist to get them to temporarily fix the problems with solution that cause more problems in the end. Now they are rubbing their hands together for the ultimate payout with dental implants. They have won. 😞

      How could the dentist "create" severe tooth decay and gum disease??? When the teeth are already in this bad of a condition, dental treatment has a poorer prognosis. That's like slamming on the brakes after you've already crashed the car.

    • @MobileDecay
      @MobileDecay Před rokem +2

      @@choochd To be fair I didn't take care of my teeth the way I should have but the dentist I went to was performing procedures that an oral surgeon was supposed to with no assistant. He ended up on Dr. Phil's show for punching a woman out in the middle of the street in front of her brother over a parking spot and also was sued for a million dollars for giving another one of his patient's brain damage by trying to perform extractions on her. The issues I had that the dentist caused were from bad dentists like that mutilating my mouth which seemed from some cavities and a couple broken teeth. Luckily my mouth today is almost brand new and my last dental appointment is gonna be Monday.

      @@MobileDecay Hopefully you have found a good dentist who isn't a sociopath. Not all dentists, as you imply with your initial comment, see patients as cash cows. From a business perspective, the best way to grow a dental practice is through referrals. So it is in the dentist's best interest to do good work that doesn't fall apart. I hope you have more pleasant experiences in the future.

    She will lose them.. you cannot do permanent teeth that quick! ive had my implants in 3 months now and havent even had the temps loaded yet because the implants need to integrate with my bone and become rock solid! I am having to put up with my rocky old denture for now but am due the temps now. Even after the temps are placed i will be another 3/4 months before the permanent ones are in. Gums and tissues shrink, if they place teeth too soon they will become lose and food and infection gets in. Its too rushed !

      We specialise in Immediate Final Teeth, meaning that patients get their final teeth 24 hours after surgery. It is possible, as we have the technology and facilities to do so. The implants will integrate into the bone (osseointegration) while the final teeth are placed on the implants. Our patient come back after 4 months for an x-ray to make sure that the implants have integrated into the bone.
