This exact show made me want to become a welder way back when I was still in grade school. I always marvelled and Jesse's talent, and it motivated me into the trade. Now i'm a journeyman, red seal. Thanks Jesse, for giving me that motivation.

I work in fab daily doing all kinds of auto prototype stuff. But that gas tank build technique is high level talent. To keep that ever changing compound radius is one thing but to mirror both sides of the top of the tank to meet the sides at the same point is at another level. Any imperfections and its right in your face to see. Of course I'm sure he had just a little finish grind work to make the perfect weld. But ya thats impressive. I don't really run into stuff where I need the English wheel but will definitely give it a go next change I get.

Watching Jesse James was one of the main reasons why I bought an Everlast welder and learned how to weld.

im not much into motorcycles, but seeing how much work he put into just a gas tank is awesome, i give him alot of respect for that
Everyone Says they can weld....Take some XRAY TEST and BEND TEST..Then you can call yourself a Welder....I'm a Retired UA 342 Welder.
