  • In the second part of the video I shoot the rifle at 20 and 50 yards at the club range. The results were good, but the temperatures were down to -3 C. A lovely rifle, and a great set-up, which ever you go for.
A big thanks to John Dunn.

I actually was a bit disappointed in those groups.qys pellets are known for being mid range accurate at best.i shoot the domed qys seem to like my barrel better, good out to 40 yard but loose accuracy after that.that being said I hunt so 40 to 45 yards at sub 12 is my limit any way.
Great vid and info keep them coming😉

Great video Mark, results were expected in such cold conditions with the rifle running slightly lower fps and less feeling in your little pinky’s.. hope your viewers enjoyed a little insight into this set up, these Wolverine R,s are a great mechanical rifle from the DAYSTATE brand ideal for this type of shooting with a little more weight and size for optimum stability. The H@N Predator pellets performed well I’ve not used them before in that rifle, glad you enjoyed your time shooting it I’ve enjoyed watching your experience with it, look forward to some more of your videos great format and quality.

Thanks John. A really nice rifle to be proud of and one that can definitely shoot better than me.
      Many thanks

I know this is an old post, but I have just bought a Wolverine R. Because of the weather I haven’t had chance to go to the range yet. I am really looking forward to seeing how it performs. With what I have seen so far, unless I have bought a lemon, I don’t think I will be disappointed. It looks an amazing rifle. Thanks for reviewing it. 👍

Yes, personally I think its the best mechanical PCP on the market. Handsome. Accurate, and well made.

Yes, I agree, I have used them in the past, and they are among the best out there. Will have to get some more to try soon.

Are daystate bringing out anything new this year , love to see what they will do as their guns are so good,
As you said in your other videos pellets choice and weight in each gun will be different.
When the baby radishes come back out you have to try them , great fun 👍👍👍

Mark, one point. You’d probably be better off using a smaller scope with lower mounts. Better cheek position.

Nice rifle, the old Terminators certainly clean up the fruit and veg !! Cracking shot at the wire 50yds with the Terminators. Never tried carrots myself.... The Terminators and the Bisley Magnums are my go to pellets for my BSA R10 SE. I think at 50 yrs the Magnums shade it for accuracy and although they may smack harder they don't deform as much as the Terminators for my set up. So as I don't usually take shots at Rabbits at 50yds I tend to use the Terminators as they are accurate and deform quite a bit up to 40yds. Another interesting video Mark. I myself am not to sure on electronic rifles, (although as yoi mentioned this particular model isnt Electronicas), my dear old dad used to say about car electric windows "more to go wrong with them". However as we now all have electric windows... with few problems.... maybe I should review my thoughts on Electronic Air Rifles.

Hi Mark, another real world video keep em coming, one question, where do you buy the Daystate FT pellets from.? I can’t seem to find them anywhere. The reason I’m asking is that I have two RTI priests that really shoot well with them. Regards. Allen.

    • @airgunsniper-elite7385
      @airgunsniper-elite7385  Před 2 lety +1

Hello Allen, I think they stopped making them about three years ago, and all that was left was what could be found from different outlets around the Country. One of the last places that had them in bulk was NM Products in Sheffield, but they sold out about two years ago. I can't understand why they changed, because many thought that they were the most accurate to date.

my rapid air weapons 500 bm in 177 is doing about 0.3 of a mm ctc at that range... thats less than half a mm ctc... if you can try to get your hands on one for a review. my daystate air wolf is no match for my bm500 from martin at raw

Yes, the rapids always were the top of the pack. At least their DNA is kept alive now in the US. I can't see it going anywhere soon.

@@xsamitt which raw did you get? Im looking to get into pcp airguns so trying to do my research. I loved the forester stock but being a left load breech is out as I am trying to shoot HFT so will need a range wheel on the left. I shot a friends S510 that while nice and shot well, the left loading breech was annoying. I'd want something I could use a mag or a single shot adapter from the right side.
