It has been a long time since we last visited Envy Bay - the road works on the nearby Bawby Bridge and clearing of the old Power Station site have been making the route to the beach increasingly difficult to access... Today, the way was blocked by newly erected fences and trucks parked across the entrance! We clambered through anyway... But, this could be the last time we visit this, one of our favourite, beaches.
Arriving at Envy Bay, we found the place transformed - the sun has encouraged the algea to grow, but, more than that, the tides have shifted and the bay is filling with silt and ruble... So, we make our way straight towards the mouth of the River Leven, where the conditions look far better for us.
Nicole has had her heart set on making some new art, so we search for the right kind of pieces to inspire creation! But, of course, we cannot leave any of the beautiful wee treasures we find along the way - as luck would have it, we leave with more than enough for the art project and a few special pieces of pottery for #jewellery making!

What a lovely afternoon at the beach!
I could almost smell the seaweed. It has that distinctive smell that makes me feel home immediately.
The finds are beautiful, especially that little paint pan. Can't wait to see Nicole use it while she's painting!
What's going on with closing the bay? Do they have plans for it?

The other side of the bay has now become a railway station and there is some work going on where get to the beach.... it was all fenced off in one part so we are not sure if we'll get back there ....

So many beautiful treasures you and Craig found! I was getting more of a kick watching Craig and you moving 2 steps forward then the water comes to the back of your heels. 😂😂🤣🤣 Craig was rushing to avoid the water, but it seemed like the water wasn’t letting you guys go. Very funny have a fun weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

Yes alot of creatures make those holes. Different shapes and all. Lungworm to shrimp to crabs. I don't know Scotland coastline creatures. But born in Florida and very animal savy!:) lovely rustic run around at that spot! Beautiful day for it!
Craig looked it up and the holes might have been from crabs - so I am glad I did not search around in the holes for treasures as the crabs might have been in there!!

hey Nicole (and Craig) have you ever tried to make angels from clear glass? I can`t rememberI am following Michigan Rocks and his sister showed us some pictures she had made from pebbles and glass etc and those angels of clear glass was very nice,. (it is only ca.two episodes since he showed that if you want to look at it). Hope that can give you some more ideas even that you have a lot yourself. That picture is georgeous.
