Every video i see of this kid is more impressive. I hope he has a solid foundation around him because he is going to be a star, and i dont want to see anything derail such a promising and important career.
There is a tiny thin little zone where the very best young drummers reside. At one far end of the zone is Greyson Nekrutman, at the other is JD Beck. Putting them together on stage might disrupt the fabric of the universe, but it would be worth it.
Just wow! Everything I watch of Greyson is absolutely jaw dropping! This guy is so enjoyable to watch. Hope to be able to see his career continue to grow.
This crushes my confidence, but at the same time, it encourages me to improve. Very mixed emotionally. Greyson is absolutely a gifted musician. Incredible performance.
A este compita lo sigo desde sus primeros videos, lo unico que me queda constatar que el esfuerzo, la constancia y disciplina hacen al maestro, ojala algun día yo me pueda sentar en una de esas baterias
@@JGBDYT I am not here to listen to a backing track. I am here to watch a drummer player his instrument. This is Meinl's channel not backing tracks-r-us.
@@JGBDYT again, I don't downvote videos for bad backing tracks. I didn't think anything of it for this one. He could be playing blast beasts to sesame st for all I care.
@@billmint8122 you sad, petulant little child. I made a comment about Greyson and his place on the drumming community yet had to make it into an attack on big band jazz?! Dude, who hurt you?!
This guy is damn good. I'd like to see what he's capable of in other contexts with darker musical elements. Maybe he doesn't care for metal, but metal can always expound in different directions that freakeshly good players like him might steer it towards.

New school Jazz drummers are infinitely more interesting to listen to than old-head jazz guys from way back when. They laid the foundation, yeah, but I'd take this guy any day.
Thrilled to see Grayson finally getting the recognition he deserves! Killer playing, dude!
Greyson is disgusting, but he’s been getting a damn good amount recognition for a while now.

Not sure which is more impressive: his playing or how those sticks are staying on top of the bass drum
Was thinking the same thing!🥱
Seeing them move at each kick is anxiety inducing af
so true this! hahaha
I was about to say this xD
He never plays that hard from the kick, he has great control
And some people say drummers are just glorified metronomes. This is pure art.
Nah thats rock drumming lol

Um ponto positivo é que ele deixou o volume da bateria baixo na mixagem, ou seja, ele valorizou a MÚSICA, não apenas a parte da bateria.
Que alegria de ver este homem tocando e lembrando nosso Buddy R.
