Luke does still sound quite Australian, the way he pronounces his vowels is so Aussie. Most words that end with an R like 'there' and 'together' for sure sounds very American since Australians don't usually pronounce them and most likely been influenced by American pronunciation.
Yeah nah Luke still sounds very Aussie. Maybe not being an Aussie you can't hear it but he still has the accent it's just mixed with a bit of American accent
as a canadian, i only hear the australian in them LOL. but it’s definitely more american when compared to their younger accents

I've alway's wondered about how quickly Australian's pick -up the American accent SO fast, probably because 90% of the tv programs here are American ! American Tv really has been all Aussie's watch now for almost 20 years! Cheers
Those Aussie actors still have Aussie accents though in real life. These guys totally changed, probably because they're younger so more adaptable to change.
I mean to be fair 5sos came to America when they were 16, so they were still forming their sense of self which includes their speaking and singing voices
@@muttrs as someone who went through that experience, it's also so American's could understand what's being said or sung as MANY American's can't quite understand because it's a new sounding English that they're NOT familiar w/ esp. 40 yrs. not so bad now though!

Ashton is so irritating he’ll take the nicest thing someone says to them and somehow turn it around as if they were bing insulted..like someone was finally resting to them that it’s tiring not being understood in America
