  • In this video I use 8in 20g round (half hard), 8in 21g square (dead soft), and 24in 22g half round (half hard) along with two 9x12mm cabs to create a simple set of wire wrapped earrings.

I have always LOVED your videos. I love your teaching style, and your wonderfully calm voice. Thank You for not using loud music in your background like some of the other people do. I am not currently wire wrapping as I am undergoing treatment right now and just do not feel so good.....thus I have been binge watching your videos in between napping while hooked up to my IVs which helps to take my mind off of current circumstances AND reinforces what I have already learned. I just mainly wanted to thank you for sharing your talent and instructions with the rest of us. You are amazing Nolan!❤

Beautiful work! I just can't believe that no one has yet mentioned in the comments about putting a 20gauge wire in your ear. I for one must have a smaller wire.

Update. I carefully tested the 20 gauge wire and it took awhile but I think i can use it.😊

Your framed setting really enhanced the beauty of the gemstones and I loved the attached wires too. I'm beginning with all copper core wire but just came up with a brilliant idea (for me) as to how I can justify the expense of purchasing silver. I will buy my silver wire incrementally and set them aside for when I finally have accumulated enough to begin working with them, Budgeting my silver.

    • @sonshineandsong

Hello a year later. When you force soft wire into the prong formation, it gains strength. He is also using soft wire. Hopefully you discovered this already.
