The German Brummbar was one of the first premium tanks I bought in War Thunder. It's sort of like a KV-2 with more effective armor and a faster reload, but it lacks a turret. Or a Sturmtiger that is much smaller. Since Gaijin added overpressure to the game, it's aged incredibly well.

Cant agree on that. Calliope not as fun, as it was at some point. Yet there are one more worthy mortar, that particularly fun when it gets god mode)
Pretty sure it's a dodgeball/kickball, actually. The tone of the "Ponk" is ever so slightly higher than that of a basketball.
An underrated gem is the T-28E. Resistant to autocannons and with like 45 crew members, it's a beast.

It is also the most statisfying thing to shoot with a sturer emil, the 11 crewmates who all turn red instantly, the explosion and the massive recoil just makes it perfect.
Also its canon its just nuts,maybe penetration isnt impressive but the post pen damage ❤
Of all the sounds you used for the impact, I think the first one hits the hardest. A rubber dodgeball straight to the face, that just describes this vehicle perfectly.

@@thatcarguydom266yep, but even at its 6.7 rating, it gets bullied by a lot of Atgm carriers thanks to stupid uptiers, it’s lfp and driver hatches are really big weak spots as well, still love the thing tho

Also somehow really tanky, if u take 16 ammo only, its amazingly hard to ammorack cuz the round are so tiny compared to the "light" "tank" and 30mm doesnt pen the ufp and turret

I feel like a spaded ST-A1 is better because of it's lower BR and similar performance. Though it doesn't get the noob stomper shell the A3 gets
it performs like drunk leopard
I like it a lot. Has a 6 second reload and a stable chassie that can shoot reasonablely well on the move.
I played it when it had that insane zoom for the gunner view. I think they nerfed it

IRL the neat thing about it was you didn't HAVE to hit the target, because it'd just blow up everything in a 50 meter radius.
Some reason I've always dreamed of having more self-propelled artillary vehicles to play with such as the M7 priest, Hummel and maybe the Geschützwagen Tiger since that was mostly built and would love to lob 17cm HE shells.
Would definitely love a hummel or a m203.

0:15 Ya know, the Sturmtiger loads slower than an entire line of infantry armed with muskets in the 18th and 19th century. They can get a whole THREE rounds per minute out.
while this is true, they also aren't loading a 300kg or so rocket assisted shell inside a cramped metal box
I will admit that in both War Thunder and WoT the most fun I ever had were in the big HE throwers.
Don’t play big HE throwers in world of tanks now. They’ll just disappoint you.

I had most of my fun in WOT with the isu 152 gun and its abbility to wreck premium

You should play the Kv-2 Zis 6, its basically a Kv2 with a "fast" reload, super fun vehicle.
It also hits like a freight train
The M8 HMC is a good TD, its shells are quite good for its tier and it's fun to flank as well because it's fast. I really think it would fit your playstyle of gremlin tanks

Quick tip: whenever there's an a with two dots like in brummbär, you can pronounce it just like brummbare as in bare hands, or just straight up as bear, which bär also actually translates to.
Also I think a short video of you trying to pronounce difficult foreign vehicle names, not just german ones, would be a pretty cool watch and also an easy video to make if you've had a rough day. Day 1 of asking you to do that sometime :)

As a guy that lives near the equator this is pretty much the tempeture that we have to handle everyday
People always say it, but the lower front plate on the Brummbär is not that weak, it is double plated, 50mm each, so it's 100mm of armor + that track, it's just less angled than the uper superstructure.
Please play the Ikv 91! It has 400mm pen HEAT-FS, good mobility and a laser rangefinder at 7.3 BR

Your videos made me come back to this game. When I started to play I didn't know anything about the game so I put 300 hours into the british tech tree. While being f2p and having a shitty laptop. I was getting stressed about not being able to progress. Xd
But your goblin tactics inspired me to look for having fun in this game and to be much bolder, and not only did I manage to enjoy playing, I actually became much more successful. So thanks a lot! I now watch every one of your videos! :DDD

Day 11 of asking for the SU100Y, I want to hear your groans of pain as you slag across the battlefield in the most fridge-esque tank in the game. Imagine this if you will, you’re playing 4.7 Russia, upteired. The t-34-57 in your lineup was already obliterated by an invisible 88 flak from a kilometer away. With not enough SP for the KV-85, you begrudgingly select the imposing behemoth and spawn in, instantly trampling everything in your spawn and displacing enough air with your sudden appearance to knock enemy aircraft to the earth. As you plow across the battlefield you spot a Tiger H1, somehow completely unaware of the warehouse on treads roaring past it. You panic. Swinging the barrel towards its side you overcorrect, bludgeoning a building to dust. You measure the amount of time it takes to correct this “minor” error with a calendar. Finally the barrel lays center mass on the poor wheraboo, you fire. The recoil is enough to send your iron behemoth into cover. Instantly, the Tiger is obliterated without a trace. So far gone in fact that you are left wondering why you fired into empty space. Before you lies what looks to be a subway tunnel carved through the map, left by the star killing shell you slung through it. There was an enemy Wirblewind behind the Tiger but don’t worry, the muzzle blast has set him ablaze and his screams of pain bless your ears as you slide into your eternal slumber, waiting until you can fire again. -me

Brummbar has been a favorite of mine since my days of fighting it as the first boss enemy of Seek And Destroy (Shin Combat Choro-Q) on the PS2. It's a unique looking vehicle, and its name is just so much fun to say!

I was once playing a tank (spj 34/44) with a cannon similar to this one. I fired a shell, and the shell had such low velocity that he had time to fire, and kill me, before the shell struck and he died.
I was really proud to know this thing weak spot
Back when I used to play sim tanks, I found the brumbar to actually be pretty good at long range shots. The HE round is somewhat accurate at long range and even with such a low velocity, it can still reach a target up to 1km away within 5 seconds. Not easy to hit a moving target, but not impossible.
The reason it’s almost impossible to shoot down an aircraft using this is due to the projectile’s maximum height of 740m and taking around 12.4s to get there. 12.4s of lead time on an aircraft is a lot. Shooting an aircraft at just 200m altitude would require you to lead at least 1.8s and that’s assuming you’ve got your cannon at max elevation of 30 degrees for maximum vertical speed.

at tier or in a down tier the brum is suprising tanky, the upper casement armour is actually pretty strong at its angle, anyone who doesnt know to shoot the hull will give the brum a lot of extra time to reload
