Beating the Viper ACR real world track record at the Nordschleife

In all honestly, I was quite surprised that I attained my goal from a standing start. this was not a perfect lap by any stretch of the imagination though. there is plenty of time still left on the table. What could I achieve with a flying lap?
I first realized it was possible doing some of my test runs. And believe me, there was a lot of practicing to be done. My goal was to do this without making any contact with the barriers. Many attempts ended with scraping the wall and the very first time I tried the actual attempt, I crashed at the finish line with a 6:56 second time, invalidating my attempt. But it was that attempt where I realized I didn't need to do a two lap run. It was possible without a doing a flying lap. To be honest, I rarely am able to make it around the ring without hitting something. But practice makes perfect and my ability to stay out of trouble has improved from this.
Very few cars in AR are as planted as this car is. So much grip! It's become a rare car in AR since it was removed from the dealer screen back in 2020 I believe. Just in time for Covid to hit. or was it the year prior to that? I just wish this car had an interior view in the game. Just about every new car that comes out in AR theses days has an interior view. I'm sure the licensing is wat's holding them back. Hey, at least those of us who obtained the car back then are able to keep it. It's one of my prized possessions in AR. And I thrill to drive, no matter the track.
