Thanks! Just did mine this morning and this vid was really helpful to see how to remove the cover. Took about 20 minutes, but I used staples vs glue. Either way, your vid was very helpful.

Lifesaver can you replace the cover that goes in between the actual Consol and the armrest individually do you know I broke one of the hinges trying to access something while hiking

Would you have been able to just staple the new one in? I'm wondering why you decided to glue instead. Would you be stapling into hard plastic?

Yes, the plastic was hard and I did not have an industrial type stapler. As a DIY’r, glue was the best option, but do what you are comfortable with!

Can you tell me how the armrest has held up? I am concerned about using glue and if the fluctuation with temperatures between hot and cold throughout the year will have an effect on its adhesion, I thought about just using some self-tapping screws instead of glue

Sure! I have had zero problems. I live in the DFW area, so temps get pretty hot. As well, we had that crazy winter storm this past year. I would do it again, if I had to. Hope this helps.
