    Easy sub. Enjoy your work. Anyone can do a how to, and they probably already have. What you do great is impart how a bike feels; and how it makes you feel. That's what I want more of from you. Ride anything (your own motorcycles would be fine) and talk about the bike, the ride, the mods you would/will/might do, which roads suit which bikes, good rides you've had, rides you wanna take, the philosophy you ride with, etc. And of course we all want to know about new bikes as they come out, but that's a given isn't it. Also, don't listen to us too much. You do you.

    I've been watching your content for awhile now, and am now subscribed. I enjoy watching your reviews, we seem to be approximately the same size so I know which bikes will feel big or small to me based on your observations. I wish your channel great success.

    Really like your reviews, Adam, as someone else mentioned, you tell a lot about how the bike rides and makes you feel, and how it compares to other bikes, and really that is what a lot of us want to hear! I too am waiting for a few more 400cc ish range bikes like this. 300 class bike are just a bit small, especially coming from bigger bikes (started on a CBR 600F2). But always thinking about going a little smaller. Kawasaki, Versys 400 please!

    Hey Adam! I've been watching your vids for years now and it's cool to see you doing your own thing. I was thinking... there is something that a lot of motto vloggers / reviewers rarely touch on and that's reliability. All that is talked about for the most part is how the bike looks and performs during the test of a brand new bike. I'd love to know how a bike would hold up in a few months or years and what kind of maintenance to expect. Reliability is something that is on the top of my list when shopping for a new bike and I would think a lot of riders out there feel the same. Might be a good idea to incorporate that into your vids. Just saying... Keep up the great work :)

    What about an introduction video dude? A little about your background and experience to let the newer fans get to know you. Or even a Q&A.

    I watched this video soon after it was posted and just watched it again because I finally bought a G310GS. These are great entry level bikes and they're killing it in Asia and India, but this is also a great bike for aging riders like me. I've always ridden small thumpers and the G310GS is a more refined and street capable version of the bikes I love to ride. The baby GS has plenty of power for the riding I'll do around town, on secondary roads and some overnight camping trips. That's why I bought it as a 60th birthday present for myself. I don't want to take a big heavy bike off road. The older I get, the more that sounds like work instead of fun.

    BMW 310gs or Ninja 400 as a first bike?

  • @biker1581
    @biker1581 Před 6 lety +5

    Nice video! Please do an off road review of this bike, let's see how it actually does there,. e-g, can you stand and ride on it, does it bottom out, can it pull through a difficult situation. I think they kept it at 300cc for the main markets which are India, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam etc, where riding on roads is almost off road, otherwise it would have been nice to have a 400 cc version giving 45 HPs. the new Ninja 400 should change the 300 cc trend so hoping to see a bigger displacement before I buy this bike.

    • @ayushgangwar8
      @ayushgangwar8 Před 6 lety

      its not because "riding on roads is just like offroad", -_- People there cannot afford the bigger bikes and cheaper bikes attract less taxes and enjoy more sales in such countries.

    Please could you do a comparative test between the BMW G310GS, Kawasaki Versys x and Honda CRF 250 Rally, showing their touring ability over tar/gravel/dirt. Thanks for the vids.

      A better comparison for the BMW G310GS is the KTM 390 ADV, now that they're finally shipping.

    There are several outstanding issues with the bike right now and BMW doesn't have any idea how to fix the issues. The comments from the dealers is that they know about it but don't have a fix. Wait till the bugs are fixed before buying. Number 1 biggest issue is hard start below 45 degrees F. Takes a few minutes of starting before it will start. I wish these reviewers would really do their homework

  • @SleepyPanda-DougBurbidge

    Good looking bike but I'd be worried about the reliability of a German bike assembled in India.

    • @AdamWaheed

    Any handling differences you can notice vs the 310r? I’ve put a few hundred miles on someone’s 310r and was shocked how well it took to corners stock. Looking to add a cheap daily bike, as my current one was just stolen. Lots of issues with the Ktm 390s... Little nervous how these will hold up.

    • @AdamWaheed
      @AdamWaheed  Před 6 lety +1

      This thing doesn't handle with the same BMW sport 'dynamic' of the G310R. But to be fair, it isn't suppose to.

      I love my triumph 765RS. The origin of manufacture matters little to me. More importantly is the company that stands behind it. BMW is offering a 3 year unlimited mile warranty on this bike. It's a testament to their confidence in the product.

    • @Joric78

      I'm skeptical of all new models, let alone a brand's relatively recent offshore production. KTM/Baja's RC390 experience went about how I'd expect. That said, the G310R quality control seemed OK for an entry level model (paint quality not withstanding). It seems comparable to their previous offshored (well... built in Italy) entry level mark, the F650. I'm sure BMW doesn't want to dilute the brand with cheap rubbish.

      I had a Bajaj 150 motor scooter that I road the streets of Portland, Or. for 12 years. Manual transmission 4 stroke based on a classic Vespa. Made in India. Road it 30000 miles. It was still going strong when I sold it. Quality machine made in India.
